Then again, I have never seen them live. I'll let you know what I think in a month or so they do NOT disappoint live dude. you will love the show! it's only in the studio that this version of u.d.o. disappoints.

Read a live review of .U.D.O. some days ago and I had to agree with the reviewer when he wrote something like "Well, well, .U.D.O. is really good on stage but I miss the fire of obsession what was in the eyes of Wolf Hoffmann and Peter Baltes when I saw ACCEPT on stage...".

i agree with tomcat though too. in the youtube video's i see of u.d.o., i don't see that spark, or fire, in the eyes like i did with peter and wolf and mark, hell the whole Accept band even Gaby!!!! the difference between the bands is night and day.

john, i think it has to do with the fact that wolf and peter have not been on stage for sooooo long, and this new resurgance is new to them.

Yes, Steve, you're probably right. Wonder what we will see in the eyes of the ACCEPT guys after ten years.

going to be interesting thats for sure. I hope they can record/tour for the next 10 years, hell if maiden can do it, the accept boys should be able to as well. however i don't see accept renting their own airplane to tour the globe like maiden has.

I think Accept will continue for about 10 more years because it is so refreshing to hear Wolf play the guitar again. On the contrary, I think UDO will put out one more-tor album and then call it quits. They are out of ideas. The well is dry. Don't believe me? Listen to the last 3 albums.

The only reason why they will not rent that own plane is that Mark could't aviate it

I say this again: I still like Mastercutor the most, despite the sound. And we must remember that a producer is a very big factor when a band is making a record. Now Stefan handling the duties he is too close to the band's music and the problem is that Stefan thinks he is ahead of his time. Recycle, recycle and make the records soundworld sounding like a techno.
Many bands change the producer time to time to get fresh ideas and new perspective. Without that new perspective the music goes round and round.

I still consider the last Accept show the best gig in my life,I felt something inside my body that I hadn't at all with U.D.O. Jeno I'm with you Jeno, I'm looking forward to U.D.O. putting up a h*ll of a show now on next week's Sunday when they're coming over to Tampere. This is their chance to prove they're still worth my attention and money.
