Wolf Hoffmann on Humanoid: “I am extremely pleased with Humanoid. The album has great energy throughout! Working with the best metal producer, Andy Sneap, was once again a lot of fun! We are a great team. We all love the new album and look forward to playing it live! Hope our fans will like it as much as we do."

You found a better picture than me. When I'm searching for pictures on Google I always choose the large images option

What do you think of the cover? I like the symbolism and as a sort of connotation it makes me think of artificial intelligence. I myself do not like AI at all. Partly it is a good thing, but mostly I think it may lead to a nasty future.

Not the most original concept. My favorite metal album is Black Sabbath's Dehumanizer and it's a similar concept of machines usurping humanity, 32 years earlier. U.D.O. also has a dozen songs about man, machines and Armageddon.
"Too Mean To Die" was their best since Stalingrad, so I'm optimistic.

I love the Tin Man/C3PO character on this one, but I don't understand why they can't let go of the Metal Heart thing. Or does it refer to the style of the music?

You need a premium membership on Spotify to access all the widgets on the new website/app. I don't have that...

I see/understand the Metal Heart icon/symbol showing a new kind of future which is not that far away. And through that metal heart shaped window one can see what is waiting for outside/in the future. Cold buildings, technology, no people outside which I again see that there is no humanity left. And the people on the front are just slaves under the dominion/predominance of the robot. This again brings into my mind the phrase too many slaves in this world. About the music I do not have a clue what kind of album there is to come. But I am under the impression that Uwe has written songs too...

That city in the background actually looks pretty nice for a dystopian future.
I was just in downtown Baltimore this weekend. Not the future I was promised.
