So, metalheart, is there a band which has never disappointed you? Accept, Vanize and Motörhead! Some say Eat the Heat was a disappointment, to me it wasn't since I thought the band was going to quit after Udo left. Eat the Heat is not a bad album, just that it could have been a lot better with a singer like Udo! All the four Vanize albums rule, which leaves Vanize with the highest standard of these three. On the other hand four albums is not much when comparing to Accept or Motörhead. Motörhead released albums that I don't really care for at the beginning, but I used to like those albums a lot in the '80s when I still hadn't heard the new Motörhead, so therefore I don't count the firts few albums as disappointments. Anything Motörhead released after Orgasmatron has been plain awesome! I could also add AC/DC, RW, Iron Maiden, U.D.O. and WASP to the list even though all these bands have made at least one album that I personally didn't like so much. I ordered it directly from Peter... On the website??? Initially at the time Vanize released the album I wrote to Peter and got an answer right away, so I send over the money and he mailed the CDs to me. I found his email address at the site.

It's a very interesting thread, Mika! There are two bands for me which have never disappointed me. These two are Rhapsody and Sonata Arctica. They always can surprise me Times have changed, sad but true...

SABATON has never let me down, they have made great albums and live they are brilliant. that is very true!!!! i've only experienced great things with them at the live shows and everyone i know feels the same. Accept is another band like that of course. u.d.o. is the same. everyone loves the live shows. gwar is another. i've seen them 5 times and every show is a spectacle, although there are some moments of boredom at their shows but i think that's because the music doesn't stand up to the show. but still, i've never felt disappointed after a gwar show.

If thinking of the live actions...then I would say UDO, Accept, Pretty Maids, Running Wild, Zero Nine, Krokus...
