„Game Over!“ – that’s what rock icon Udo Dirkschneider (original voice of iconic band Accept) proclaims on his upcoming new U.D.O. record to be released in autumn. The statement behind has got many different meanings. But one thing becomes clear immediately: U.D.O. is not doing things by halves and so they give everything they have. During hundreds of shows worldwide, some of them in the most remote places of Russia and South-America, the band has become one unit and a conglomerate of passionate musicians and friends. Each of them knows exactly, when and how to play his instrument to match to the sound of the band perfectly. Songs like „Metal Never Dies“, „Kids And Guns“ or „Prophecy“ are precise, powerful, catchy and bursting of energy. And most notably they are: timeless. All the songs on this record feature a distinctive character, that convinces today as well as it will convince tomorrow. And why „Game Over!“? Udo Dirkschneider strikes a sour note on this opus. He is not so much into embellishment. If mankind does not rethink several aspects, it may have fatal consequences. For example „Kids And Guns“ is about the increasing number of gun possession in the USA and the associated shootings, that do not stop at nothing and do harm to schools and especially kids. Without question – Udo Dirkschneider is a cosmopolitan and he sees the world in it’s entity. Therefore „Game Over“ has become an international production with and huge amount of greatness. Tracklisting: 01 Fear Detector 02 Holy Invaders 03 Prophecy 04 Empty Eyes 05 I See Red 06 Metal Never Dies 07 Kids And Guns 08 Like A Beast 09 Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye 10 Unbroken 11 Marching Tank 12 Thunder Road 13 Midnight Stranger 14 Speed Seeker 15 Time Control 16 Metal d**nation

i don't agree with udo at all about the "kids and guns" theory. it has absolutely zero percent to do with increased gun ownership in America. it has everything to do with hate and mental illness. the government and media are behind the hate and dividing the people and people are falling for it. they've forgotten that it's us (the people) against them (the government), it's not the people against the people. the only thing that gets rid of a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun. i choose to keep all of my guns and will always acquire more. thank you.

Hmm...now there is a really, really weird drum sound. Instrumentally and sound-wise I like so much more of these Dirkschneider and the old gang songs. And comparing this song to Steelfactory songs...come on!

here's a video of the band doing the song. i actually like the drum sound. although i do hate those snare drum/floor tom buildups, which reminds me of sk writing. also, the background vocals sound like total sk harmonies. never did like them. it reminds so much of the -tor era. you can see the difference in energy between u.d.o. and accept in this video. the band seems old and tired. udo is allowed to be though, he's the star and he is getting up there in age, but it's no excuse for the rest of the band. but accept, everybody looks eager, still hungry, and energetic. i hate making comparisons though because they are 2 entirely different bands but right now, i hear energy in accept songs and not in u.d.o. songs. maybe udo is really mellowing with age, who knows.
anyway, here's the video...

Udo sings very good, touching and interesting , but all l the rest is poor , slow and not metal at all.
Every note is boring and I dont like how Andrey plays here. I hope that this track is just a filler , a mainstream RNr anthem.
Accept is from the the higher league.
