Funny part: when Andrey has done all the guitar work on albums, those albums seem to be better than Decadent. I didn't like Decadent album. I have high hopes of liking the new album. I think Andrey shines when he is responsible of the guitar duties. He was also on fire in that Summer Breeze gig! I liked their version of Metal Heart even more than the one accept has done lately. Way to go Andrey!

+1. Thats are my thoughts exactly. Andrey stands for a great composer and he needs a space.
I like Decadent and I think that Kaspery has decorated this album very much. But it looks like Andrey had frankly opened a heart of any guitar in one of his interview : “if you have another guitar it steals some of your freedom. You always have to ask someone else who is to play this time”.
Looks like Kaspery and Andrey deserve total freedom. And it means to be a lead guitar of their own band.

For me, it's perhaps the best album since Faceless World

Well, Mika , i try to be honest and objective . Firstly , we live in the same city with the guy so we are even closer Secondly, I am proud of all of the participators of UDO . Btw, a couple of years ago we met Andrey standing in a hall attending gig as a common visitor. He was pleased and said “ thanks for your attention, guys”. Well, I am older than him but this guy became a grown-up These days rock star is not a rich btich as rock is a more cultural event than a big-margin business. And to me it looks really good and true.

I read some Reviews on the Weekend (ROCKS Magazine (Germany) and heard some samples. The Review said, that this records is one of Udo`s best records ... I heard the samples, I think that too. looking forward

Ye, it really is this way. Btw I listened to a file copied from Jap cd.
It does not contain tracks “Devil is an Angel” and “Pictures in my dreams”, but there is absolutely killing bonus “What a hell of a night”,
Unlike a track from “Restless and Wild” : Hell what a night Get ready
with its mean atmosphere, this one makes You rejoice with its major atmosphere.
What a hell of a night What a feeling What a hell of a night Aiming for a ceiling
Btw , there is another “hello” to Accept . Like “Analogue man “ which is DC-stuff, UDO strike back with “Hungry and Andrey” sorry “ Hungry and Angry”. Dancing and heavy ACDC “of a healthy man”.
I even made my personal battle : Steelfactory vs The Rise of Chaos after that.
I have to say that its is not hard for Accept to get it right. They just play it perfect. It sounds so easy, just like 10-cylinder engine on the road . No problem in everything. They ve got the power. UDO sounds more like “studio stars”, their album is done greatly , shining like a diamond when you turn it from one edge to another. But you understand that live show wont be such great : actually drums are slower, and Andrey cant play all the guitars on stage .
Another thing is what Udo said hiring Andrey 6 years ago : “look , Fitty, that guy plays guitar in UDO style but in absolutely different way”. Yes, Udo always was great in precise vocals work , in changing major to minor and back, in showing musical harmonies as riffs , a trademark of Wolf, and Andrey is absolutely great in the same style, he underlines Udo’s voice and they make a beautufull team.
The difference between Wolf and Andrey in musical touch is that Wolf is a “king of mean” while Andrey is a “lucky dog”.

i believed what critics said that the album is ACCEPT-like. OK, it isn't so the stuff was a disappointment after the first 4-5 listenings. Then I found out that as the next .U.D.O. album it is a very good stuff. Definitely better than The Rise of Chaos. A Bite of Evil and The Way are the best songs for me so far.

I find it Accept-like into some extent. For example when many of the songs start there is a little bit of guitar solo in the intro/beginning, which is very Wolf-like playing. I don't know the word for it...if speaking of drum playing people talk about fills. There is also a song which remind me of Dogs On Leads.
I also think it overcomes The Rise Of Chaos. I think the new album is quite consistent. The more listenings, the better it gets.

John, do they call that short guitar soloing at the beginning of the song as fills too?

I think that on the new album there is not an actual song which could be called bad. Take almost any UDO album and you will find a song that is not that good. On the other hand at the moment there is not a song which is an absolute killer and perfect song in every aspect. Udo said in an interview that his fave track is One Heart One Soul.
