As I see this whole thing, I must listen to the album again and again and maybe then I'll get what you guys are talking about. I don't see any genial things in this album so far.

I am not saying TROC is a bad album, but I prefer Wolf's solo album over that. Then again Headbangers Symphony is a very important album to me and on that album Wolf is on fire in his guitar playing. That same fire and passion is somehow missing in their new album.

Ye, to see the order in a chaos you need to give it a try. And than one more try I don't know what happened to me, but i like the album and its no1 on my list now. Yes, some riffs are just copie-paiste of Blind Rage stuff and Mark should be sharper and stronger, but its just my crying. I really like album and that's reality. Its catchy and fast.

It got me after the second listening but its true potential was revealed after the third. Just great album. I miss the typical Accept mid tempo - I belive we have already talked about this with Csaba a few weeks ago - but the melodies are incredible, plus some songs are real classics. Finally, an album I enjoy after Blood of the Nations!

Last week I listened to it while mowing the lawn in my parents' garden. I liked it a bit more so more listening sessions are to come. Still I think that Blind Rage has better songs, better solos and more hooks.

I am glad that the album has started to grow on you. I like that new album, but maybe the lack of good solos and hooks are the reasons why something feels hollow after listening to that record.
What about Headbangers Symphony, Csaba? I like that album really much and Wolf shines on that record. It feels like he has really thought of the guitar solos on his solo album and on Accept album he has not seen that much trouble of composing the solos.

Yes, seems like writing and recording a solo album and an ACCEPT album almost at the same time was too much for him. There's a rumour abroad that Kaufmann helped them with the writing of some songs on Blind Rage. Maybe they need him again. Somehow I think that the thing I miss from The Rise of Chaos is the Kaufmann touch...
But to answer your question, instrumental metal has never been my cup of tea, so I haven't listened to Headbangers Symphony too much.

the further kaufmann stays away from music i listen to, the better for me. i don't need to hear Rise Of Chaostor.

If he writes it - that's OK for me. If he makes it... that's a different story

Couple of days ago we had a drink with my buddy at my place. He is even more analog man then me - he 57. Men, its eternity His love is a gatefold vinyl and it rules his world so he baught a vintage turntable to have his fave Smokie and Abba on the air ) lightweights are people too So he asked me to turn my vinyl turntable louder and i put TRoC and made it " the louder - the better, we need more". Cool to have Accept of classic level but with new material. So i am to say that to me new accept is if the same classic level. I even revisited all the albums of new era in vinyl, gotta listen them one by one soon. In a car i turned Death Row and was really shocked just having read the writing on the wall. Udo was so emotional and precise in that that i felt myself a man enough to cry.

that's a great story man!!! i love it!
yesterday, i was working on my pool so i did something i hardly ever do, i turned on my outside speakers and was cranking TROC. i'm sure all the neighbors were loving it too! hahahaha the best part is that the work i was doing required the amount of time for the cd to play through its entirety twice. so the neighbors got a double-shot of that album. yes, it is beginning to grow on me a bit, but i still don't see a standout song, but i am enjoying the album more and more.
