I say that is too early to give up. Well, I prefer the new album over Blind Rage. It has darker and heavier songs, except Worlds Colliding, which makes Scorpions to envy Accept. I really wonder why you John do not like No Regrets song? That has got energy! However as a whole that album is a slight disappointment to me. It somehow lacks good and memorable solos. I think I have a same kind of feeling as those Metalvoice guys. There is something missing and I have a somewhat hollow feeling.

I must say I prefer Headbangers Symphony over this new Accept album. Wolf's solo album really has guitar playing at top form.

it's not that i dislike the album, i doesn't. it just don't "hit" me, or move me in any way. i don't think there are any songs on it that i would jump to hit the skip button when it came on.

Could it be that we are getting older and have hopes out of this world? And that being old, we do not get the same kind of feeling out of music like when being teenagers. Well, I did get excited from Battle Beast - Bringer Of Pain album. With Accept I am "only" satisfied.

yeah, i think our age definitely has something to do with it. i know for me, as i am getting older, i'm willing to put up with far less bullsh*t.

it's not that i dislike it, i don't. i just don't think it's as strong as the others. of course, BOTN set the bar so high, it's practically impossible to meet that again.

Well, not a southern comfort round opinion...listen again BTW, i put your, john, opinion together with Tomcat's" one just to give Russian fans more representative view from old fanatics. There 2 lines there : major one -" rise of chaos rules" and minor one " it would rule better with udo on vocals" Though some guys treat Blind Rage as the best treat. So yesterday i started the personal control audition : ETH, br, the rise of chaos So my verdict is that ETH was totally killed by sound producing and David Reece did his time really outstanding. Blind Rage seems to be awesome like Accept at its best but Mark is not great enough having lack of drive and lack of precision. The hit material of ROTC is made in DCish style so it really fits for Mark. I like this Accept.

Three happy people...I was worried because of BR and its direction to hard rock. I am happy because new album is more into metal.

hahahahahaha @maika and his avatar! i had a long 1 1/2 hour drive to a gig then another 1 1/2 hour drive back this weekend. so the songs from TROC came on my mp3 player quite a bit. i do have to say that i really did enjoy them as i was driving and really needing some sleep. so my brain was in another place and probably not so d**ned critical. 2 songs really stoood out that i liked. Carry The Weight and Worlds Colliding. of course the drumming was really what kept me interested, but i was much more open to the lyrics which really hit me, and wolf's guitar playing was really cool too. i wonder if BOTN has spoiled my taste for music because i love that album so much, it makes me lean against the others?!? hell, i don't know.
