i'm guessing everybody here will buy the next accept album. heck, i've lost count of how many BOTN albums i've bought since it came out. probably between 15 - 20? but i know for sure how many stalingrad albums i've bought. one. i just wasn't impressed with it even from day one. I bought 14 BOTN AND 12 STALINGRAD ...and it´s very easy critizice here... only because some people don´t accept other opinions or think they are "better" fans. Remember Wolf, he says Stalingrad was made with a lot of pressure after finishing the BOTN tour in only fwe months... if it´s boring music for a lot of people here... sorry, I can´t understand.

I think the "fault" was more of a BOTN. That put the standard so HIGH. To me BOTN is the most coherent Accept album ever. Then came Stalingrad, even though it is not a bad album, it still was a slight disappointment. Here at this forum people do accept other people's opinions. Accept forum is another issue.

i agree with that mika. the bar was set so high with BOTN. almost anything Accept did after that was bound to be somewhat of a letdown. that's why i've bought so many copies of it and gave them away as gifts so that my friends could hear first hand that they were back. i did the same with steelhammer. gave away tons of copies as gifts. but i didn't give away any stalingrads.

You are right. It's easy to criticize but we compare ACCEPT to ACCEPT. As we said it many times: we are fans so we have the right to tell our negative opinion as well as our positive thoughts. What is wrong if I tell that I like this album better than that?

it's only human nature to like or dislike something more than something else. otherwise everything would be the same and BORING!

Just like it was during the -tor era.

ugh, the -tor era. the darkest of dark days! the days when one man almost single handedly ruined an entire band for an entire world of fans. one mutha fukkin man. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

OK John just calm down, buddy That era is over. There's no reason to be angry for that anymore. Hope it'll never come back.

but can you imagine what would've happened if he'd been able to carry out his evil plan!?! there would be no more UDO or Udo! the world would not be a better place! but, alas, Udo made the brilliant, and ballsy, decision to can his a$$ and kick him out of the band!!! for that we are forever grateful.

I'm not sure if Udo kicked Stefan out of the .B.A.N.D.

maybe not officially. we all know that tired line of "health issues" blah blah blah.... if there wasn't bad blood then why did sk run screaming to the Accept camp begging for work?!?!

I do not think there is bad blood with Stefan and Udo. They always were one camp and Wolf and Peter the other. That Acceptology thing I think is just that Stefan K is more into video stuff nowadays.

It's typical. The only time when someone else disagrees with mika is the time when I agree with him

hahahaha funny how that works out sometimes huh?! i just have a very strong opinion about sk. i've never gotten a good vibe from the guy. i appreciate his dry and sometimes strange sense of humor. i love that stuff, but other than that, i really do think he was hellbent on either having total control of the band and Udo himself, or to ruin the band. i'm just not sure which. but that's just my meager opinion. i could be totally wrong.
