Still not as scary as the green stuff on the cover of Rev-Craptor.

Hi you all there, I'm new over here... well, I've read some posts in this forum previously... the U.D.O.'s collections pics of some members rules!! Some day I'll upload some pics of mine, I promise Well, the stuff I want to talk is about this R.R. album. I agree it has not a 100% great production. It's quite sad, but it's true. Some 80's albums sounded better!! The playing... well; I'm musician and it scratches my ears several times when I listen to some "instruments". No more comments But well... it's our "little man" and the voice is what we all like I think... In order to add some positive comments to this; my fave tunes of R.R. are: Rev-Raptor. Rengade. Terrorvision (one of Igor's best solo in this album to me ). Motor-Borg. Dr. Death (50%). I Give... quite a decent ballad The rest of the stuff... well, better luck next time for the guys in the band. I think they can create better sons in the forthcoming album. Regards mates!! See you!!

Welcome!! It's no nice to see a new member here! After this forum was deleted from the website, we haven't got that many new members, so WELCOME! And yes, tell us more about you! You can tell us on this topic or some other topic. In this forum we don't care that much about if the post is on the right topic or not.. We love off-topic and spamming, at least John and Mika does.

Hi you all!! Thanks for this warm welocome!! I'm still surprised Well... I got U.D.O. addicted when I was a "Sweet little child" LOL. I was 12 when I listened to "Fast as a Shark"... OMG What's that? WTF? It was shocking!! That drum beating everything fast as hell and that voice screaming... ufffffffff. Too much! Later on; I started collecting U.D.O. & Accept stuff, you know, buying cassettes, CDs, vinyls and so on... so then I became an U.D.O. collector of official releases, bootlegs and other items. So, the years run and now I'm 33 and still enjoy every tune of U.D.O. and those "old Accept" albums where the "little man" participated. It's really nice meeting a bunch of people that also are U.D.O. fans in a level of "extreme" LOL ;D By the way, which is your U.D.O.'s fave album? See you soon guys!!

Welcome to the forum Desperate Balls. This may come to as a surprise, because I do not like this new direction, however to me the best record is the most diversed one which has the most aggressive/heaviest UDO song (Dead Man's Eyes) and the album I love the most is Mastercutor. The second favourite is the most underrated UDO record Mean Machine.
I am also an exception to the rule because I do not like Animal House so much...it is my least fave album from the 1st era. Well, let me say this: I like the songs Animal House, Go Back To Hell (among the best UDO songs), Warrior, Coming Home and Run For Cover.
My fave UDO ballad is One Lone Voice and 2nd fave Blind Eyes.
So all in all TOP 3 UDO albums for me are:
1) Mastercutor 2) Mean Machine 3) Faceless World
The least faves 3 s-u-c-k bottom:
1) Mission No X 2) Rev-Raptor 3) Dominator
As funny it is, Dominator does have some good tracks like Stillness Of Time, The Bogeyman and Pleasure In The Dark Room. Even Rev Raptor has good tracks in a way, but the soundworld kills them: Rev-Raptor, the ballad and Days Of Hope And Glory the waltz kind of song.
Mission No X has two songs which are good but the white noise production kills them (it has the worse drum sound): 24/7 (<--I can always listen to the live version) and Primecrime On Primetime. However I am not able to listen to that song anymore because of the production.
