I don't want to compare these two albums... they are went on different ways and they are have different styles now.

BOTN is much much better than RR....even concerning vocal parts; BOTN is one of the top ACCEPT albums, RR is just another U.D.O album

hahaha this is funny. this is like a pro boxer vs. an infant. it's not even a fair fight. but it's still based soley on opinion. just because we don't like the sound field, there are many people (somehow) who do. so i would think that the only real fair way to compare would be something like worldwide sales. even if you went by chart position or awards, that's still somewhat opinion based.
and if you go on sales, just in my household it's already 3 - 0 in favor of Accept. i've bought 3 BOTN cd's and fore sure will not be buying RR.
EMILIO - just for fun, add a pole to this topic.

FOR ME UDO - ACCEPT ( 2 - 1 ) I BOUGHT EP AND WILL BUY CD AND I BOUGHT BOTN. UDO PLAYED IN THESE HERE ACCEPT NO.........SO IN ALL THESE YEARS UDO IS DEFENDER OF ACCEPT .. THE FANS SHOULD BUY REV-RAPTOR for all that UDO made in history metal. Yes botn is better than Rev- Raptor but Rev- Raptor is good album.....

Why? In my opinion Emilio is right - Udo was the defender of ACCEPT waving the flag for such a long time. But it's not what we're talking about now. Now we're talking about the two albums.
I can only say that in my opinion Blood of the Nations is pure Heavy Metal - even though I have my skip tunes on it - while Rev-Raptor is tech-no-metal. So I like Blood of the Nations but I really don't like - and don't buy - Rev-Raptor.

Why? In my opinion Emilio is right - Udo was the defender of ACCEPT waving the flag for such a long time. I disagree a little even I was happy of course because UDO played so many years ACCEPT hits. But I think he did it because those songs brought succes to U.D.O as a band not for charity reasons. If U.D.O songs had been more succesfull than ACCEPT hits they would have been played instead. At the end was a mutual benefit for the fans, UDO and ACCEPT (win-win-win situation ;D).This is my opinion.

Sorin, you're right. He didn't play the ACCEPT songs for charity, but in a way he didn't let the name of ACCEPT to be forgotten.
