wow! when Accept is putting out "comeback album of the year" and "album of the year" and u.d.o. gets a review that has this line in the summary, it tell's you something is terribly wrong! "I can stretch it to saying that this is a decent effort. Not completely crap..., " Hahaha, that what you tell your kid if he lose a footbal match? "Welll, you didn't suck THAT hard"

hahahaha one of the favorite lines after any show we do is "well, that didn't suck nearly as bad as it could've"!!! hahahaha
but yeah, it sounds like a review i would've written maybe on a good day!

Rev raptor is great and their hardest since timebomb,,that I like!!!
I think it is way better than botn. Botn is an album without a monsterhit and many fillers.
At this point RR is a 8/10 and BotN is a 7/10.

if i was going to rank the albums, i'd give RR a 1.5. one point for udo's voice being brilliant! and .5 for igor's pretty d**ned good guitar work. zero for the drums, zero for the backing vocals, zero for the songs (there isn't one song on here that i'd consider a "must listen" song), and zero for the lyrics. then i'd give BOTN an 8.5. i'd take 1 point away because of that god aweful "The Abyss" and .5 points away for kill the pain. a decent ballad, it's great to sing along with, but d**n it's depressing! the rest of the album rocks my nuts like a Planters truck on an old dirt road.
if i was going to bother to burn RR to a cd-r (but why waste the 50 cents?), i'd be glad that Accept is on the other end of the cd rack from U.D.O. because i'd be afraid that some of the suck from RR would get on my BOTN case.
BUT! since i'm trying to be less negative about it all, let me say that at least the next album will be better. i mean, there's only one way to go from the bottom isn't there?! let's "hope" so!!

This is in a way sad, because Udo's voice is in top form. The instrumental point of view is quite the opposite.
The vocal performance for BOTN = 8 for RR = 10+. The live vocal performance for Accept 9,5 and for UDO 10+ (<---when Udo handles the vocals and not the choir...).

I always wonder when some people say Rev-Raptor is better than Blood of the Nations... OK we are not the same and our tastes are different, but... Only the drums on Blood of the Nations give me so much more than the whole ...tor trilogy! The sound of Blood of the Nations flames while the ...tor trilogy (especially Dominator and Rev-Raptor) lacks any fire or even the smallest spark.

Today I listened to vinyl RR. CD is to be the next... To my mind- awesome. Vocal oriented music with a bunchet of melodies. Great ruffs and solos. Sound is not classical- but they tried to make compromise between classics and new fashion. Some songs reminds previos albums but it good for me- influence is not plagiat. I must mention that album is much more energetic then Dominator. This is only 1st impression of first listening. As for the topic- to my mind its .......DEUCE
