My brother was diagnosed testicular cancer two years ago. He has been cancer free since the surgery. That f..ing disease is strong in my family genes I need to monitor myself sharp. I don't want to let that goddam fukking disease surprise me... It is an insidious invader. With many cases, once you are symptomatic, it is too late. It took my father at 64 back in 1997. It has taken 2 swings at me as well. Metalwarrior, best wishes to your brother. Please do keep yourself monitored.

If you have IBD (inflammation bowel disease) there is a high risk of getting cancer, especially if you have long and acute stages in that disease. Since of that high risk IBD patients who still have colon left have colonoscopy quite often and if the acute stage is difficult then they do the colonoscopy "right away". My girlfriend Virpi has an ostomy and they monitor her too, but they only scope small intestine through the ostomy. Colonoscopy is not a nice thing, but it is a smaller evil to be monitored. I also go every three months or so in blood tests where they monitor leukocytes + spesification of leukocytes, hemoglobine, liver values, creatinine, crp and albumine.

The emptying phase is also a...hmm...nasty thing to do. When they do the colonoscopy to me I am heavily medicated. I won't accept any colonoscopies without being doped. There were times when they didn't give me any medicines during that colonoscopy. That was terrible, I'll tell you that.
I am hoping everything is ok in February!

He among other doctors before him, but he was the nastiest dude. I did even have a pill medication one time, but pills don't do anything for me plus they don't absorbed when I have drunk the emptying liquids. I need iv medication. Plus that Mengele didn't have anything meticulousness in his doing. I remember when it also hurt my bladder. Colonoscopy should not hurt there at all. Maybe he tried to push the scope through colon in 1 second but didn't succeed.

Oh yes that isn't nice. However I am quite use to that, but that toilet running during and after the delicious drinks annoys both one's mind and arse.

Saw my oncologist today. Good news! As of now I am cancer free. No chemo, no radiation, just monitoring from here on out. That being said, it’s a good day. 🤘
