U.D.O. has left there metal roots in the dust! Never to be found again! They could take a lesson from the band "Bullet" in how to play metal.

They only need a producer. Here is one interesting comment from Michael Wagener about producing stuff, when he was interviewed in the biggest Finnish TV station: "The modern technology allows them not to rehearse and get fixed in the studio, which we don't do either". With them Michael means the musicians. He also has three E:s on the wall of the studio: energy, emotion and entertainment. Those things should be found from the record according to Michael. And we all know that emotion emerges with people doing the stuff and not computers. And Michael doesn't even use the beat detective in the final stage of the mix, like almost all the producers. And seeing UDO live many times, I can say that they can really deliver when playing live. That live feel has to be on the records too and that's where Michael Wagener comes in the picture. There is no other choice for the producer of the next album.

If they don't get him to be as the producer, I don't know what to do. Don't know even if I'm gonna buy the RevRaptor..

I will buy that one (rev raptor)...but not anymore the next one with Kaufmann as a producer. I have put a great deal of money to U.D.O. along the years and if they don't care for the fans at all, that's when I won't invest money to the band as far as the records are concerned.

I´m not gonna buy without listening it before if can. And like Darren has said, they should learn of BULLET. They´re concentrated on that pseudo industrial style that doesn´t convince anyone, because sounds false and rare. If they are not capable of writing better songs they better stop releasing albums.
It´s a pity we buy the albums because we love Udo´s voice and we love him but the music doesn´t convince in a plenty way. I have many record to buy and I´m glad with all these new young bands now (Bullet, SkullFist, Crashdiet, Wolf, Cauldron...) to buy another bad album.

Udo & Stephan obviously don't wanna bring back the classic metal sound, and a new producer wont force them to to do it. Its all about what Udo & Stephan want. Maybe they wanna be Rammstein.. I'm Looking forward to getting my hands on some Bullet.

Earlier when Udo was asked to give some advices to the young bands he always said individuality's the key and the most important thing. He advised not to copy any other bands... Seems to me like he's forgotten his own words...

same with me. if this is another industrial computer album, then i'm done. i always download before i buy anyway just to be sure. i think we all have TONS of money wrapped up into u.d.o. but i just can't support something that i don't believe in and i definitely DON'T believe in computer music!
for me it was the same thing with Kiss. i'd bought anything and everything KISS that i could get my hands on. then the last few albums i really had to stretch to convince myself to fork over the money. then after i spent a ton of money on the "farewell tour" only to see them come back to phoenix another time after that was the final straw. i don't give them a penny of my money anymore.
the situation with u.d.o. is different, yet the same. in this case, u.d.o. has lost their way and wandered off. i thought BOTN would reel them back in, but it doesn't appear to be the case. stubbornness if you ask me.

I'm Looking forward to getting my hands on some Bullet. You're wrong in that Darren. Michael Wagener would force them to. He hasn't produced any industrial metal albums, all the productions by him have the natural sound. I hope he will the the producer of the next album and we all would hear that change back to the metallic sound. I am 100% sure of that.

I still remember when a lot of people hoped the same about the Dominator. Azt what happend? Nothing. I think this is the final way of U.D.O. . If it continues, U.D.O. will lose a lot of fans, maybe hardcore fans...

I hope the new record won't be a commercial success. That way they could realize they are in the wrong direction.
