Sorry if there is a thread like this... I haven't looked for it just opened this. I myself don't really like the instrumental songs - even Wolf's stuff doesn't impress me too much - but there are two songs I really like: Dorian Gray by Stormwitchand Bad Hobbits Die Hard by Wuthering HeightsC'mon and let me know your faves - with links if it's possible.

In addition to the above-mentioned I enjoy some of Joe Satriani's and E: Viljanen's instrumental tunes.

Joni, this thread is about instrumental songs, i.e. songs without singing. How an earth I forgot Joe Satriani (which I prefer over Steve Vai). Another instrumental came into my mind. This is not an original, but Nightwish had arranged two songs from the movies Crimson Tide and Deep Blue Sea. This clip is by the way from Tampere (home city) where for example U.D.O. played on Mission No X Tour and Man And Machine Tour. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gb4QLMfOJTg

The first one that comes to my mind is ''Just By My One'' from ACCEPT. And of course ''Far Beyond The Sun'' by Yngwie (and a lot of other instrumental by Yngwie ). But I don't like instrumentals that much.
