Too bad. Rock at Sea should also do the other way around, starting from Finland and back. Maybe there are such a event already, I don't know, but there should be anyway. I think it would be successful due to the popularity of metal in Finland! \,,/

Metal has always been popular in Finland, even when the grunge almost ruined everything. Accept was in top 30 even with Predator. And when it was on that list, it was the most sold metal cd in that one month or so.

I like them a lot! Thanks Mika for the mail :-) Glad that you also like them. And the singer respects Udo really much! And it is also a great honour to him to play at the same boat as U.D.O.

Here are the reasons why Sabaton didn't come to Finland, according to Joakim Broden the Sabaton singer, himself:
I'm terribly sorry that the planned dates in Finland didn't come through. The are several reasons for this, but the 3 main factors were: 1: The first cruise "Dalaslaget" was cancelled 2: We are scheduled to play at 2:30 PM on the RETURN trip of "rock at sea" which made it impossible for us to get off in Finland and continue the tour there. 3: Our agency in Finland didn't really come through, they basically demanded WAY too much money for a gig so nobody would book us. (probably greedy since they get 10-15% of the money.)
We're currently looking for good opportunity to invade Finland, and a festival or a opening slot for another band would be a great opportunity.

Ok, I just got home from the Sabaton gig and I really enjoyed it. I didn't see other bands on the bill besides Sabaton and Lord Belial.
Lord Belial was, IMO, better this time compared to when I saw 'em circa a year ago; they sounded better, was it because of the fact that "Pepa" is back on guitar? Maybe.
Joakim Brodén, Sabaton, is a great frontman! He is full of energy on stage, he's giving 100% all the time and also he got a sense of humor; you can tell he's enjoying the ride!
There were, during short periods of time, minor difficulties with the sound, but it wasn't too harmful and we didn't care either, because the show otherwise was splendid!
The setlist was something like this (there might be some errors, in that case...sorry.):
Panzer Battalion In The Name of God Rise Of Evil Into The Fire Attero Dominatus Hellrider Wolfpack Purple Heart Back in Control Light In The Black Primo Victoria Metal Crue
The place was packed, in other words: sold out! (~250).
All in all it was a very good gig and hopefully you'll be able to catch 'em live soon! Recommended! \,,/
