I think it's pathetic to re-record old stuff again, even if the sound is better. I bought a Saxon record with re-recorded classics a couple of years ago and it's ok versions but the originals still sounds better even if the sound is old. U.D.O.'s album version of I'm a Rebel is much weaker than the original. I sure hope Accept/U.D.O. won't make a re-recorded Accept album. I see no pint in re-recording the songs just like they were in original just with another sound. Now if the songs are changed a lot it could perhaps be good but... Ah... Stay Hungry is a great album, and one of my favourites through all time but it feels they have just re-recorded this stuff just because they can't write any good stuff anymore, which I know they can because Dee has made some great stuff over the years. But now I haven't heard Still Hungry yet so hopefully it surprises me even if I don't like the re-recording concept...

Twisted Sister rocks! I'm definately going to get version. I have the old one on lp. I was a huge fan of them in the 80's and still am. I like especially songs like SMF, Shoot em Down, Burn in Hell, and Wake up the Sleeping Giant. Just the other day I watched that movie Strangelands, which is directed by the guy and he plays Captain howdy in it. I think it was great, they should show it to all teenagers! I also got a live bootleg by Dee Snider from '98 a while ago and it really rocks, the side band is called the SMF (Sick Mother F*****s). Anyway, good to know about that re-recording.

my stay hungry cd has a huge scratch on it that makes a couple of the songs skip. so i might go this version just to make up for it. TS always seemed to have a weak recorded sound anyway on all of their studio albums. so this may make jamming to them even more heavy!

Saw them last year live here in Germany. They were great. A real festival band. But U.D.O. got the better songs, I think. I watched both shows on DVD. And TS are a real show cool f-u-c-k-i-n-g band. And udo are real metal...
