And I must say this is somewhat unbelievable. I am on several music forums too and there are always some mocking and stuff like that around. Hmm...maybe it is just that majority of Accept/U.D.O. fans is smart people. ;D

Yes, this forum is one of a kind. I've never been into any other forum, as u ppl already noticed, where it's as respectful as here. Some of us have different opinions, but that's in no way a problem! This forum is soo cool and I'm happy/honoured to be a member!

This forum is soo cool and I'm happy/honoured to be a member! And I must say that I am a member of Finnish Crohn and Colitis association and they have forum as well. You could think that people who have the same kind of health problems would get along at the forum great. But that's not the case. It is incredible how there is such a cold attitude time to time.

That's so peculiar in my opinion. Why is it so "cold", as u told, on the internet? I don't know. I think it might have something to do with that the persons are sitting home writing without needing to face the other members. It's difficult to express every emotion in your posts. There are smileys for sure, but I guess that isn't enough. IMO here on the internet we all need to be more careful in what we post and say, just because it's so easy to misinterpret things. I don't know, on the other hand I'm not for censorship either... Well, all in all we need to be respectful for other kinds of ppl and opinions, because there are a lot of that on the net... Just needed to "air" some thoughts I've been having on this subject. Thank you for reading!

Hmm...maybe it is just that majority of Accept/U.D.O. fans is smart people. more exact words were never typed! or spoken. i think since udo himself is such a nice and humble guy that it flows over onto us, the fans.

besides, life is too short to be pissed off and hate all the time. it's easier just to ignore those that you don't like and hang with those that you do like!

John, did Ty get my letter?

yes!! i took it over to him yesterday. here's an update....
Ty came home (to his parents house) yesterday afternoon. they had just finished remodeling his bedroom and put a wheel-in shower into their guest bathroom for him. he is still in great spirits (on the outside) and is looking at all of his options for his future. he's already signed up for social security disability and is thinking about going to college to get a degree since he can no longer be much of a manual laborer like he used to be. he was a welder / fabricator before. i told him he should get a business degree, take over his dads hot rod shop and run it and just hire people to work for him after his dad retires. so he's thinking about all of this. i can tell that it's really rough on everybody there. his dad always starts to choke up when he talks about the accident and Ty is frustrated to be confined to the chair. but you never know. with enough prayer and Ty working out and keeping a positive attitude, he just may walk again. it's just still hard to tell right now. he just looks so strong. it's like he should just be able to get up and walk again!
he appreciates all the cards and letters you guys and gals have sent. he tears up saying that it's so cool that people who don't even know him would take the time to send him something. i told him that we're like a big happy family here at the forum and that we're always here for each other at least to type to. so thank you so much for all you've done. the response was well above what i expected. you all did great!!
