I just can't get enough of metal and hard rock. I guess I have some kind of addiction or should I say: obsession to listen to music. Have you the same kind of problem? ;D

It has not always been like that but last 5 years metal/hard rock has become a way of life to me. Not just listening but playing too.

That's only for 25 years... ;D

I hate it when these former metalheads, now "sophisticated" pop/rock lovers, try to put you down for listening the same type of music ever since you were a small kid.

Ha, some of my friends have been asking me: oh you're still listening to metal? Heyy, what kind of question is that? Some of them are former friends...well, not because of asking that kind of questions, but because of different things and so on. I say: if you really love some music style from the bottom of your heart, that's never gonna disappear anywhere. But if you just are running along with fashionable music styles, that's a different issue. Music taste will however change to a wider range when you're getting old. Ha, when I was a little kid, I almost despised the bands which had keyboards in their music. Nowadays it is just a nice addition to the music. I also like very much of classical music nowadays. Guess why? Thanks to some metal bands! I'd like to add one more thing: metal which has heart and soul will always prevail and it's never going to die.

i'm glad i never "grew up" enough to stop listening to metal. i can't even imagine listening to pop or country as my main source of music. that would drive me crazy!!! even though i play in the country band of brandon shepard and the redneck revolution, i do like to listen to that kind of music once in a while, but not all day for sure. i always listen to some sort of metal or hard rock every day just to keep me sane, and it also probably keeps me from becoming a serial killer!!
