I just know they do this with fotboll. Never heard of it happening in hockey. I don't know how often this is happening... But perhaps one or two times per year... ?

it's just another excuse for me not to waste my money on professional sports. the salaries and egos are why i stopped spending money on it, and when i can, i don't even buy products endorsed by athletes! do you really think that just because some uneducated fool can put a ball through a hoop and wears nike shoes, that i'm going to wear nike shoes and pay twice as much as i can for a pair of new balance shoes? i don't think so. i like to think that i can make my own decisions and not be influenced by some knucklehead that can't even read or pronounce words correctly! but don't even get me started on this subject man. it makes my blood boil!

Yeah that's right. In the U.S.A. it seems that the athletes seem to think they are worth all that money. Look at Peter Forsbergs Swedish klubb Modo, its budget is 50% of what Peter earns himself in Colorado Avalanche. In Sweden they earn well, but they are not multimillionaires (perhaps after a whole career). In fact I will see Brynäs - Dif on Saturday, Bif now with (Andreas Dackell, Chis Phillips, Tyler Arnason and Kimmo Timmonen) and DIF with (Marty Turco, Mariuz Czerkawski, Dan Boyle). The tickets were at 170 skr, that is $24. That's quite fair prices, but they should not raise it!

This happend to an Italian Soccer Club called AS Roma (Rome). The "fans...." throw things to the referee. That was the reason the UEFA (or FIFA) decided they must play the next games without any viewers (so they hurt the team, because they don´t get the money for usually sold tix. They did that with oter teams before too. It´s kind of ok, but not fair. 80000 people in an stadium and a few stupid people... So what´s up with the real fans? And what is the Teams fault? Well. Everyone should have his own opinion about this happening. Fred
