The point of this thread is that every active forum member will make an own list of the best UDO songs album by album. You should also write why do you think one certain song is the best one.
Animal House - Animal House
Great opening track which has the same kind of spirit as the Restless And Wild era Accept, when the music was the main thing and not the money.
Mean Machine - Don't Look Back
Maybe the best speedy track by UDO. What a fine metal attack this song is and I think the best vocal performance by Udo is on this record.
Faceless World - Blitz Of Lightning
Even though this record consists of pop-metal songs, this album really has its moments. Blitz Of Lightning is one of the best UDO songs. The guitar solo is a heaven for a person who likes classical music. You can clearly hear that M. Dieth also likes classical music very much as do Wolf.
Timebomb - Metal Eater
Many fans prefer this cd over all the other UDO cd:s. I don't - but it's my problem. However this song has all: fine melodies, aggressiviness and speed. Perfect!
Solid - Braindead Hero
What a come-back record after the "lousiest" Udo era Accept record Predator. I didn't wait anything from Stefan and Udo after the Accept come-back. They really surprised me. There are no bad tracks on this one. Braindead Hero is a classic! Energgetic metal!
No Limits - With A Vengeance
This record was a disappointment to me. I've been thinking this one as a phase on UDO career. However, there still are some fantastic tracks. With A Vengeace brings to mind classical music.
Holy - Recall The Sin
Way to go Acce...no way...UDO ofcourse! This album could so easily be an Accept album. Back to the roots, back to the roots! ;D This was a pleasant surprise after No Limits. Recall The Sin is trad. metal at its best with great melodies. UDO-classic, oh yes!
Man And Machine - Man And Machine
What an honour to Accept! Great melodic metal this whole album is!
Thunderball - Blind Eyes
This record has its moments but as a whole this is a slight disappointment. Thunderball has great songs, but quite disattached songs all in all. Now looking backwards I started to get a little bit annoyed to so clean and sterile UDO sound! However I regard Blind Eyes as the 2nd best ballad ever written - the best is by Accept: Writing On The Wall.
Mission No. X - Primecrime On Primetime
Come on guys! What kind of Scheisse is this? Is this meant to be as white noise or disco music or other crap? :oThis is so clean and sterile that I'm bowled over. The ballads and some other songs are good on this one. I personally like Primecrime song which brings to mind Accept 'Death Row' album. But hey, we are used to UDO albums which are killers. Where is the aggressiviness or fine melodies as far as the whole album is concerned?
