A real epoch of UDO.
We salute you, the last of the dying breed .
Btw, tomorrow Udo will have a special meet&greet event in Moscow. After that a concert of a couple of local bands will take place. I have some plans to be there and it looks like people will ask Udo about Fitty.

We will survive this as well. Also the .B.A.N.D. and Fitty, too. I will miss him as a man but honestly, he seemed to be less and less happy on stage during the last few years. We will still have him as a songwriter and that's a good thing because he has written some good songs. Plus I will never forget how he helped me with getting a dedicated picture to the memory book I made for Luna for her 30th birthday.

Not a good news. All the best for Fitty. U.D.O goes on.

It seems like many members have left the band to spend more time with family. Is this the excuse everybody uses when they leave or get fired? Losing a bass player is normally not a big deal but Fitty has been with Udo for many years so it may have a psychological effect on Udo. Maybe this is the beginning of the end for the Band with so many members leaving.

yeah, since francesco left "for family reasons", they've lost
francesco kaufmann kasperi hudson fitty
also, remember that lorenzo left "for family reasons" too. igor left most likely because andrey was such an extraordinary guitarist.

Family reasons was Igor's reasoning, too. As Fitty goes, he has done a long career with Udo and I can relate to why he left, if it is the constant touring. And he is not young anymore. Udo is not either, but he enjoys being on stage. Audience is always shouting Udo's name at the gigs...that was also the case, when Accept was with Udo. When fans adore Udo I think it helps to perform and enjoy of the performance.

yeah, i can remember when Accept came here on the OO tour, as they walked to the stage, the whole crowd, 400+, were chanting "Udo, Udo, Udo...". then of course, everyone was shocked to see a bald wolf hoffmann, and Accept as a 4 piece band.

As for Fittly having left the band on family reasons, he had always had no problems and good undestanding with Udo. May be Peter Dirkschneder wants to play bass , I dont know At the moment , UDO has only 2 full-time participators, I mean 2 Dirkschneiders. As for new bass , my variant is a guy from Everlost, a band of Andrey Smirnov.

wouldn't that be wild to get peter dirkschneider on bass?!? hahahaha that would make 3 dirkschneiders in one band! wow.

Soon after that Peter left Accept. Does anyone have good conspiracy theory for this? Did Peter try get in Udo then? Why now not then?

i'm sure we could make something up, but it's highly unlikely since it took so long for that transition to happen.
