yes, it's a major step forward from the dreaded -tor era, that's for sure but i think the fans will always long for the Dieth era again more than anything even though andrey and kasperi are beyond incredible on guitars!! Hm... I really liked the Dieth era and Timebomb is still my fav .U.D.O. album but having these two guys in the .B.A.N.D. I don't want the Dieth era back. Then was then and now is now.

The band definitely seems to be reinvigorated with Steelhammer and Decadent. To me it seems as if Udo has gone back to his roots sound-wise, while remaining contemporary in regards to production.

since he fired the dreaded sk and crawled out of the -tor era, the new producer has taken over and given the band a metal sound again, and of course, having 2 guitar players that are actual metal guitar players and letting francesco physically play real drums doesn't hurt either!
