There is some info that Stefan K. was involved in composing some tracks of BlindRage , for instance the track " Dark side..."

Yes, I've heard about that... Some say he was involved in four songs and Dark Side of My Heart was one of them... You know it's really strange. I have always been the strange bird who said you don't need the Hoffmann/Baltes combo to get songs like those on Blood of the Nations and Stalingrad. I've always had that "something is missing" feeling. Sometimes I thought maybe Kaufmann was that missing something. And then came Blind Rage that I liked and still like a lot and I still think that Blind Rage is the strongest of the three they've made with Mark. And now they say Kaufmann was there...

Yes, that seems to the be answer why the album has such a strong classic feel. It's just because Accept got altogether -London Leatherboys , sorry, just Altogether . Altogether Accept, sorry, except Udo.

I have always thought there were pretty much two sides of Accept. One was Stefan K who wrote those cheesy 80's riffs and then there was Wolf/Peter who were responsible for the more serious and epic stuff and together it was the perfect combo. I mean, you can clearly hear it, those awesomely cheesy oldschool riffs are still there even on the latest U.D.O. albums with Stefan, even though buried under that horrible sound (for example Terrorvision). On the other hand, the new Accept albums are really one-dimensional in that epic serious direction. And then Stefan leaves U.D.O. and that kind of cheesy riffs pretty much vanishes on Steelhammer but then you have the rumours that Stefan wrote some of the stuff on Blind Rage which "just happens" to suddenly bring back more of that 80's oldschool charm into the gloomy songs Wolf and Peter write...? You can say anything you want about Stefan's producing skills but it seems to me that he was responsible for a much larger part of Accept's trademark sound than he is given credit for.

There is some info that Stefan K. was involved in composing some tracks of BlindRage , for instance the track " Dark side..." Strange thing came to my mind. I had missed my fav Blind Rage tunes on the gig last year. They didn't play Wanna Be Free, The Curse and Bloodbath Mastermind. Only Dark Side of My Heart. May it be that my fav Blind Rage tunes are just the ones Kaufmann was involved... And may it be the reason why they didn't play these songs on stage?

Are Wanna Be Free, The Curse and Bloodbath really your faves? They cannot be, 'cause they are my favourites, too. 200 Years and Dark Side Of My Heart plus Dying Breed are the ones I like, too. Other songs are fillers for my taste.

Ha-ha, that's great It's just another prove that BlindRage is real Accept . Second to none. There's nothing strange here, that's natural,
