By all means, thanks, Csaba. Its much better to have the link twice then to have no link at all.

To me it reminds intro and melody to "Back with a vengeance" from No limits. Like rappers do - one band vs other. I think UDO ^s track was better. To me the marching kind of rhythm guitar on Shades of Death brings Slaves To Metal to my mind. I like STM and therefore I like SoD too.

I have an old Metal Hammer article with the lyrics of the Russian Roulette album translated to German. I read in that article that the wall in the song is that wall in Washington DC.

From my point of view, You very often look like a walking accept-dictionary, Tomcat So , I ask you another question- do You have official info what is "living for tonight" track from "Metal Heart" about ? We had a discussion with some fans, one guy told that it is a song about hero loving a prostitute.

Haha! Thank you Stas There probably are many that know more than I Unfortunately I don't know a thing about Living for Tonite. We have a thread somewhere here about .U.D.O./ACCEPT lyrics and I remember that I asked the guys in that thread about Living for Tonite but noone had a clue about its meaning...

So I have a fresh opinion now. Yes, Shades of death surprisingly reminds Slaves to Metal thou it never came to my mind before. SoD has great scale and producing but it looks like minor slower and even twisted version of StM. Looks like StM is a band singing BEFORE a big drunk, SoD gets the sence of next morning - everything sounds unhappy and twisted . The final point is Mark singing- and it ruins the competition . But these songs have mutual basis.

I must say that Shades Of Death could be a little bit shorter. Shades Of Death is or at least was Frank T's fave song from BOTN.

Yeah, until opinions will be the same. I already made my top 6 albums of the year to another forum, but I did too that hasty, because the lists were supposed to be ready already yesterday. I will make the top 10 list carefully and write it here in this month. The top 6 will alter that is certain when giving more time to it.

I simply don't have a Top 10 for 2012... I can only remember 2 songs as the songs of 2012. And I'm gonna open a new thread for the song(s) of 2012.
