If you could change the players of U.D.O, who would you like to play:
- Lead guitar - Rhythm guitar - Bass - Drums
My list looks something like this:
- Lead guitar - Marty Friedman - Rhythm guitar - Zakk Wylde - Bass - Jason Newsted - Drums - Marco Minneman
A bonus would be that Andy Sneap would produce their album, he is the best metal producer today. Listen to Nevermore's Dead Heart In a Dead World and Arch Enemy's Khaos Legions. Those albums sound brilliant. So if Andy produced U.D.O, I think the album would be way better sounding than any other U.D.O release.
So, what does your list look like?

Well, interesting thread to think about!
Lead guitar - Mathias Dieth (my favourite guitarist after Wolf, awesome guy) Rhythm guitar - Igor Gianola (well, when he doesn't have think about new guitar solos, he's fine) Bass - Fitty Wienhold (i think this guy has showed that he can play, I really love the way he plays on gigs) Drums - Francesco Jovino (the same goes with him like with Fitty. He can play, I want to hear hiim on the albums)

i think we had a topic about this years ago but to find it would be senseless. so good idea fatcat, besides, a lot has changed recently and over the years so let's see what comes out of this now... Lead Guitar - the dude from Roxy Blue - Sid Fletcher Rhythm Guitar - the dude from Beautiful Creatures - DJ Ashba Bass - Fitty Drums - the casio 9200, oh sorry about that, i was thinking of former studio drummers! - ME OF COURSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! u.d.o. needs a drummer that isn't afraid to play in the studio and who can put some emotion into the songs. i vote ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and to show there are no hard feelings, i'd let stefan carry my drum stick bag to the gigs for me @fat - dude, the only thing i would disagree with on your picks is zakk wylde. i can't imagine an entire u.d.o. show with those d**ned finger pinch harmonics 40 times per song!! it would drive me crazy!!!!!! but marty would be friggin KILLER as the lead guitarist!!!

This would probrably be very good aswell. It would be awsome to actually hear Francesco on the albums, and not only some midi files.

Yeah, I think the main reason for this state of band is S.T.E.F.A.N. If Kaufmann wasn't around anymore, the band would be better. That's my opinion.

Lead guitar - Wolfff... yeah, Im dreaming, lets keep it realistic
Lead guitar - Toni Iommi (Black Sabbath) or bring back Mathias Dieth! Rythm guitar - Dave Mustane (Megadeth) worlds best rythm guitarist Rythm guiar - Blackie Lawless (WASP) I just think Udo and Blackie's voices would be good together, an old dream of mine, admit it, the backing vocals would be amazing!! Bass - D D Verni (Overkill) Geezer Butler goes as his stunt actor! Drums - Nicko MvBrain (Iron Maiden)

It's good to have another "cat" on the forum ;D Well, my favorite .U.D.O. album is TimeBomb so bring back that lineup with a rhythm guitarist, or... kick off the whole recent lineup and hire the Lechery guys That would be something!

Well, this is a fun topic. Lead Guitar: Matthias Dieth Rhythm Guitar w/ occasional leads: KK Downing (I think he may be free these days) Bass: Me (Udo can't find a better free agent bassist out there ); however, if I'm too busy, then maybe Ray Riendeau or Billy Sheehan Drums: Mike Terrana
