I wrote my list on the Accept board, but it is a lot similar to Mika's.

Okay it's really hard 'cause I like the WHOLE Russian Roulette album, the half of Eat the Heat, but I can't write all here. So I chosed my bests. Really hard to say the sequence of this songs.
Fast as a Shark, Crossroads, Midnight Mover, Monsterman, T.V War, Balls to the Wall, Living for Tonite, Do it, Seawinds, Restless and Wild, Starlight, Breaker, Burning, I'm a rebel, Save us, Run Trought the Night, I Don't Wanna be Like You, What Else, Bulletproof, Writing on the Wall (I prefer the acoustic version from the Metal Blast from the Past CD), Hellhammer, Head Over Heels, Turn me On, Up to the Limit, Princess of the Dawn and Rich and Famous.

I don't like the Death Row album so much, but that song is really killer.

what you talkin' 'bout willis?! i've always liked that song! I just meant it is a glorius thing that also you like that song. I have always thought I am almost the only one liking What Else; it has got a simple structure, but it is its strength!

Simply but killer, and that is true for the lyrics too Yeah, everything is in order with that song. I also like the solo Wolf does here and I especially love the drumming at the beginning, that's phuckin' innovative and it was exactly the same when Stefan S. played the drums in Helsinki in 26th of November, 1994.

F**k... It's just impossible for me to name the 10 favorite ACCEPT tunes... Have to think about it and it's gonna be a really hard job... It's gonna take hours and hours... Just think at the moment...tomorrow is a different day. And there is also this opportunity: 1) Wrong Is Right/Ahead Of The Pack etc... When I made my list I was thinking the songs that had a huge impact when I heard them and which I haven't got tired at any point of my life. I also thought about the important albums for me, like Restless, Death Row, BTTW, I'm A Rebel, Russian Roulette, BOTN... I'm A Rebel was the first Accept album I bought. Restless was phenomenal album when I heard it. BTTW was an album that I anxiously waited for. Metal Heart album was a let down as a whole, so when RR was released I was happy to notice they played again the kind of metal which made Accept the most important band to me. Death Row was ultra metal after a little disappointment caused by O.O. BOTN was the metal album of the year 2010...So I started to think of the songs on the basis of albums. When thinking of Metal Heart song I only thought about that song and not that album. I am not saying you must do the thing in the same way, I just gave an example how to think of the songs from one certain way of looking at them.

You're right Mika! The only way to make a top 10 list of ACCEPT tunes is to listen to your own feelings, memories and impulses... It was a really hard job I can tell you. Had to throw songs like WinterDreams, Russian Roulette, Can't Stand the Night... And in the end there are 5 songs from Restless and Wild on my list The guiding principle to make this top 10 was to find the songs in wich Udo did the best job - in my opinion of course... Tried to find the ones in which he put the most emphasis... And there were of course some tunes that I couldn't leave out - independently of Udo's voice The songs are in cronological order, so not the first tune is my favorite... Fast as a Shark - Without any doubt this song is a classic. A must! You're not a Metal fan if you don't know (and don't like) this one. Ahead of the Pack - Wolf Hoffmann is the greatest guitarist on this ball of mud! He played all the stuff on Restless and Wild all alone (alright there are stories about the fact that Herman had his parts on the album...) and what great twin solos he made! This solo is just amazing! Lead comes from the one channel and the rhythm from the other... then they change... then they end the solo together... Can't get enough of it! Shake Your Heads - The build up of this song - at least the opening - reminds me of Smoke on the Water... One guitar, another one, bass, drums... and more guitars. And then the voice The merciless monotonity makes this song unforgottable. Neon Nights - I remember the moment when I heard this one for the first time... I was on the bus and a guy gave me the earphones of his walkman and said "Listen to this!" Heard the sound of a guitar distorted and tortured to the extremes! Never felt anything like that before - it caused me pain but in a good way... The song itself is the perfection of sadness and pain, and its second half is one of those things that it's worth to live for. If you've heard the Staying a Life version of this one your life wasn't unavailing It's a pity that the song fades so soon - but in the Staying a Life version we can enjoy the longer version of the beautiful solo. Princess of the Dawn - Obvious choice, isn't it? It's the monotonity again that makes the song a special gem... and Wolf Hoffmann of course. That is not a solo what you hear in the middle of the tune. That is more than that: an instrumental interlude - and Wolf plays splendidly Wrong Is Right - Probably my number one from ACCEPT. This is a speed bomb-shell! Udo screems like hell and the short part with the staccato riffing right after the first refain takes it all! And we've still got a solo here... And again that kind of solo in which the axemen change their places and then finish it together playing the same melody - while Udo is screaming again!!! Bombastic It's Hard to Find a Way - This one blows me away anytime I listen to it. Udo is unbeliveable. The contrast between his fiery, passionate voice and the monotonous chorus adds a tension to this song. When Udo sings "No, no, no!!!" just croaks me Protectors of Terror - First I didn't like it... but when I saw the fantastic video I started to listen to it more and more again and again... And somehow this song was the reason why I turned back to the Restless and Wild album and finally I ralized that that was their greatest album. (I described Russian Roulette as the best ACCEPT album before this happened...) So I owe to this song that I like Restless and Wild so much New World Comin' - Do you remember the YouTube video in which Götz Kühnemund of Rock Hard talked about ACCEPT and this song was heard in the background? Tho I hardly heard anything of the tune - I knew there was a new world comin'
