What would your collection look like if you made a best of collection from Accept songs: it may or may not be a 2cd or only 1cd? I need to think for this myself... Ofcourse there would be Starlight, Feelings, Breaker (Staying A Life), Fast As A Shark, Ahead Of The Pack, Shake Your Heads, Get Ready, Don't Go Stealing My Soul Away, I'm A Rebel, Save Us, Do It, Metal Heart, Living For Tonite, Wrong Is Right etc on my collection. These songs came into mind right away.

Okay...To me I'm A Rebel album has a special meaning, it was the first Accept album, and the best stuff I had heard from the 70s to that day in 1981.

i remember you saying that. but to me, the song has no meaning at all and is just a basic rock song. Accept had so much more better stuff. i can't believe u.d.o. still plays that d**ned song!

That voice brought extra dimension to that whole album, a voice that no other human being has. And if I relate that song into the year 1981, it was phenomenal. It doesn't sound phenomenal anymore, but back in the day it did to me. The next Accept album I heard and bought was RaW in 1982 and that album was a shock in a positive sense.

Tomcat's list? What kind of list do ya think? By the way I have my own 2CD collection but I made it before Blood of the Nations and my taste is a bit different now so maybe I'd collect different songs this time...

Haha! Screaming for a Love-Bite has its place on my best of whenever I make another one From Predator... I think I would give CrossRoads a chance.

Crossroads and Hard Attack are not bad tracks, but still not on my best of list. If I made the best of hard rock songs of Accept, then they might be there.

Let's change this a little bit. Name top 10 songs from Accept at the moment. Now this is difficult...I will have to do this on the basis how important those songs have been to me throughout the years. That means that musically they are not necessarily the best for me, but emotionally they are remarkable. There are so many great tunes that putting them order musically (song struction wise, artistic wise, guitar solo wise, rhythm wise, geniusly etc..) would be impossible. So my list will be structured based on my feelings. 01) Fast As A Shark - Now this was groundbreaking. This is simply perfect in every aspect. 02) Metal Heart - This was interesting, because of this song I got interested in classical music. Ofcourse it was obvious to me that Wolf is the best guitar player in the world and this song made it perfectly clear to me. 03) Fight It Back - This song kept the pace like Fast as A Shark. This is also the song where Udo hits the high notes in the best way he has ever done. 04) I'm A Rebel - The first song I heard from Accept. It was the best song that was ever released before the year 1981 IMO. I heard this song (1980) in the year 1981. I was eagerly waiting for the 2nd song of this album at the record shop while listening to it, if it was good too, then I'd buy this album. And yes it was and yes I did buy it. 05) Like A Loaded Gun - Ultra metal and the guitar solo, wow! I could have chosen also one of these songs from Death Row album (1-5, 7-12). 06) Writing On The Wall - Udo shows on this song that he is perfectly capable of singing ballads. The whole band is on fire on this beautiful ballad. 07) Locked And Loaded - Ultra metal and makes my heart beating fast! Excellent and innovative solo on this one. 08) Slaves To Metal - When I was listening O.O. for the first time I thought, where are the songs that have the feeling and finally in the form of Slaves To Metal I found that kind of song. 09) Another Second To Be - It could have been TV War, Monsterman, Aiming High, It's Hard To Find A Way or Stand Tight. Instead today I need the Restless And Wild album feel and instead of TV War it is this beauty. 10) Teutonic Terror/ X-T-C - XTC has one of the greatest guitar solos forever and when I heard this song for the very first time I thought wow this sounds great and doesn't sound anything like Bon Jovi as I thought. Teutonic Terror raised my expectations really high toward BOTN after The Abyss. And yes I am not able to say which one of these two (TT/XTC) moves me more.
