I enjoy the clips when Udo sings alone with no choir. Anyway the sound sucks and the choir part sound the same as always. I will wait to have the full lenght to judge. I think that "Rev Raptor" song sounds a bit like "Hot Tonight" in the verses.

After I listened to the Rev-Raptor song samples I can hardly say: I'm VERY VERY disappointed!!!

too short to judge yet ! Jeno No, it isn't. The samples are long enough to hear the drum machines and the gang vocals...

the sound is the same crap. terrible. over and over with the same thing. there's like 3 different tempo's on the whole album: slightly slow, mid tempo, and slightly fast. it's tiring and depressing just to listen to it, and it's even more tiring to keep typing about it.

alright, i've wasted some time doing this but i wanted to prove a point. i've tapped out the tempo's to every song on the new album (thanks android phone!). i'm not going to type out the name of every song because that would be an even bigger waste of my time. so i'll just put the song number followed by the 1/8 note tempo next to it. first i have to admit. my last post was wrong. there are not 3 tempo's. i was way off! there are 4. i classified the tempo's as follows...
Slow = 80 - 100 bpm Mid Tempo = 101 - 139 bpm Slightly Fast = 140 - 180 bpm Fast - 181 - 225 bpm
1. 173 - sf 2. 224 - f 3. 176 - sf 4. 183 - f 5. 84 - s 6. 80 - s 7. 116 - mt 8. 200 - f 9. 130 - mt 10. 136 - mt 11. 100 - s 12. 122 - mt 13. 110 - mt
you know, as i read this, it's not the tempo's that are a drag to me. almost all bands will have the same classification of tempo's. it's just the sound that kills it. it's not the tempo. they all sound alike because of the production. the same old sh*t, different day production.
and as oderus urungus from gwar said at the end of "f'ing an animal" - "i'm not willing to spend any more time on this"

yeah, i know. that's what i said. i did it because at first i thought it might be the fact that there were so many songs that sounded the same with the same tempo and feel. but after i typed it up i realized that amost any album will fall into those categories. that's when it hit me again that it's not the tempo's, but the production and the same tired drum fills that aren't drum fills at all over and over since the solid cd. how many years has that been? the same washed out, processed to death guitars, the same formula song structure, the same boring 858 person gang vocals during every stinking chorus. d**n it all to hell. it pisses me off that this is what it has come to!

Rev Raptor, Fairy Tales Of Victory and I Give As I Good As I Get sounded good to my ears (apart from the sound ofcourse). Other than that where's the variety: other songs sound almost the same. I do not need to tell anything about the choirs and the sound world.
This means that Fitty should compose more songs (RR and the latter song are composed by him).
