Soon we'll have new U.D.O.-album again. Because, in my opinion, Dominator was excellent album, I doubt if RR could make better. I mean compositions. We all know that guitar sounds and drum machine will be here again. Udo did great job in vocals in Dominator, I expect this won't be changing. What I would like now: Back to Faceless World-like songs. In Stillness of time they showed that they could do great hard rock stuff. I don't see that there would be ever new Animal House, Mean Machine or Timebomb. These distorted and computerized sounds they do now, set certain limits.

Maybe we can have a little hope, because the appearance was postponed. They told us because of Stefan's health problems, but maybe the real reason is the following: They want to put more time into the work, to make a very good sounded album, with real drums and nice guitar themes.

I am still hoping that the "modern" soundworld will change and that the drum computer thing stops. Maybe my hopes are in vain, but hope dies last. If only they could get Michael Wagener as the producer: he doesn't accept drum computer nor any drum beat detection in the final stage. Other than that I don't actually know what to expect. They should take an advantage of Udo's excellent vocals and build the songs around Udo's voice. BTW, I really love the song Stillness Of Time too. To me that's one of the UDO classics. BTW, in the upcoming metal evening there will be two songs from Faceless World album.

Anyway I will buy the album, and I will buy the single if I have money for the EP. I want to buy the limited edition because of the bonus tracks, and the EP because the exclusive tracks. That is my opinion. I'm hopping in a better, clear sound world in U.D.O.'s music. They have time to do miracles with this project. I'm waiting, and I'm impatient

yeah, this album is going to require some effort. it has to at least compete with BOTN! they can't just go into the studio with the "i've got pieces of a riff, let's just throw some words over it, put the drum machine on, and don't forget the 30 tracks of all 5 of us singing the chorus too, then wash the sound out with delay and reverb" attitude again.

They must see that Blood of the Nations reached a huge succes because of the killer tunes and the killer sound. I mean the sound of real instruments. They surely know that the whole world will compare Rev-Raptor with Blood of the Nations. And if there's truth in this world they will knock that f**king drum machine to smash because they know that another Dominator will be incommensurable with Blood of the Nations. So I'm hoping for the best.
