Inspired by Tomcat I started a new thread. The title says it all, this thread is dealing with what happens in the world of metal. Sabaton will be publishing a new record in 2010. The singer Joakim Brodén is also taking part in the same CHRISTMAS METAL SYMPHONY as Udo.

Scorpions will come out with a new album next year with the title Sting in the Tail. And they will start a two year long world tour. Hopefully they'll visit us again.

I would be pleased if the material would be in the vein of 1979 - 1982 records.

BTW, did you know this about Blackout album: Lead vocalist Klaus Meine had to undergo surgery on his vocal cords during the writing of the album and it was uncertain whether he would be able to record it. Demos of the material were recorded with Don Dokken as vocalist; however none of those recordings are featured on the album.. Source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackout_(Scorpions_album)

i remember reading about that back in the day. i couldn't believe that they had dokken do it. after all, there are no songs on there about being alone.

Juho saw that too. I must say it was one of the best live experiences I have attended at. It was on that live show that you could really see how talented guitarist Mandy Meyer is. Schwarzmann was also a beast behind the drum kit even though he had hernia problem back then. Everything was just perfect music-wise.

Didn't matter that it took place on a weekday - I was still able to enjoy it as it would have been a Saturday.
