Can't believe I'm still getting into Timebomb after 18 years+ of high rotation! I think Udo really nailed it on this album - top notch muso's, songwriting & production... it all really came together and sounds just as potent in 2009!!. I really like most U.D.O. releases, but if I was stranded on an island this would be the album I would take. I think its a real pity that Mathias Dieth has retired and I consider his songwriting to be a major contributor to this release, a close listen one can hear layers & layers of interesting guitar tracks and what I consider some of the best solos on any recording! I remember reading an interview in 1991 somewhere that Udo went to see Judas Priest on their Painkiller Tour and was really impressed... the result being Timebomb? I wish Mathias would get back into recording and release another album with U.D.O or a solo project that would make my day lol

True words Brother! TimeBomb is my favorite .U.D.O. record and my countryman Jenõ will come soon to agree with me. TimeBomb is a timeless classic and it has the greatest sound that a .U.D.O. album ever had.

hahaha;D;D,Timebomb is the album that the 2nd era of U.D.O. hasn't been able to top at all ,Hopefully the bottom has already been reached by this Dominator, and the arise is going back with the new album !At the moment my idols down over - 900000000000000000 ,below critisism.... Don't want to start an arguement,it's my personal opinion ! Jeno

timebomb is one of those classic albums where everything was perfect and the songs will stand the test of time. it's a "must have" cd for any metal collection!

I've sold my own copy, but converted it into mp3:s before selling it. The same thing happened with Predator by Accept. However TB has four cool songs: Soldiers Of Darkness, Metal Eater, Kick In The Face and MMM. People loving TB: I know your feeling - it is the same as I have when considering Death Row.

Mika I always thought that you liked only one song on TimeBomb and that one was Soldiers of Darkness (the one I like the least on that album). And now you're saying there are four good tunes. It is improving tendency

It is improving tendency There was a time when I loved all the songs on that album. However Soldiers Of Darkness is my most favourite from Timebomb. And ofcourse I like Metal Eater because of the classical music influence.

Recently I've started to relisten the albums from the first era, they still kick arse ! I wish if the second era was half as good as the first one !
