I have a serious war inside my head and the "fighters" are "Restless", "Balls" and "Breaker"... maybe my favourite is "Balls"... for the production sound, superior than the others, but it´s really difficult to choose!

I had the same kind of war some years ago with Restless And Wild, BTTW and Death Row. Finally it took me over 20 years (82, 83 releases) to decide that Restless And Wild is the best album by Accept. There was a time when I considered R.a.W. , BTTW and Death Row equally good. Today my ratings goes the way that BTTW and DR are equally good to me. When I want raw power and energy I put DR to the dvd player, when I want melodic guitar solos and fine rhythm section I put BTTW to player. The point is (even though people have different opinions of the best three albums) that we all may have gone through that difficult battle inside of our heads to decide the best of the excellent albums.

Guess what? There was a time when I considered Restless and Wild as the weakest album by ACCEPT... But I have become a reformed character

Don´t worry Tomcat. Restless and wild was always the best accept album for me... but my favorite accept track (starlight) is from Breaker album. Perhaps it´s ironic.

Guess what? There was a time when I considered Restless and Wild as the weakest album by ACCEPT... But I have become a reformed character that's shocking because i've always considered R&W to be one of the strongest Accept albums. it seems like it's always a toss up between that and BTTW.

Don't forget that the first ACCEPT album was Metal Heart followed by Russian Roulette - for me I loved that more melodic way back then. Right after those two the Breaker album came to my way - another melodic album. Then I heard Restless and Wild and thought "What the heck? Where are the melodies?" Of course now I think that Restless and Wild is the greatest album in the history of Heavy Metal

Since I am relatively new to U.D.O. (the band, not Udo Dirkschneider per se) but have become a huge fan in the last couple of months, I thought I would revive this topic since I've been listening to "Dominator" fairly heavily over the last month.
My favorites on the album are the title track, "Infected", "Heavy Metal Heaven" (makes me think of RJD whenever I listen to it), "Stillness of Time", "Devil's Rendezvous" (I really love these swinging numbers that U.D.O. does so well, like "Cut Me Out" from "Holy"), and "Speed Demon" (love the harmonized guitar solo break).
As discussed to death across this forum, I definitely think that the album would be much better if the drums were actual drums and the guitars were less processed with multi-layered effects. Still a great album IMO.

that's one of my favorite songs on the album. if it was drier and had real drums, that would kick some major ass! instead it's just another song.

Have you heard all the older UDO albums? I got a great used copy of Holy in mint condition, and I also bought both the DVD and double CD of "Mastercutor Alive". It's hard to find U.D.O. in the States. I mentioned in another post that there's only one store in the Seattle/Tacoma metro area that I know of that sells U.D.O., and I bought everything they had when I discovered it. I've heard a lot of other stuff on Youtube. So far, I am liking "Faceless World" and "Timebomb", in addition to "Holy" the most overall in terms of complete U.D.O. albums. That said, I pretty much love all of the U.D.O. stuff that I've heard. Knowing myself, I'm probably going to go on ebay and buy as much U.D.O. as is out there to complete the collection (plus, I still need the first 2 Accept albums, the 80s live albums, along with "Death Row" and "Predator" to complete my Accept collection).

i have a cupholder called predator. i'd gladly sell it to you but i use the cd as a shield to keep my ant farm dry from the rain. i also try to signal UFO's with it in the day time.
