And Peter says differently. ;D And Herman Fank plays the solo of Losers And Winners. We have another interview where Wolf says Frank played on Restless And Wild. Long hair - short memory, as they say But wait... Wolf's hair is not that long anymore...

so, would herman be thinking the same as, say fransesco or ss when he was in u.d.o.? having the album with your name and pic on it, but knowing that you didn't play on it, must leave an empty feeling when people tell you how much they like the album?! i certainly hope herman played on these albums. if you watch what he's playing live, even the rhythms are pretty busy. so he must be somewhat responsible for a lot of that stuff?!

I don't know, but the solo in "Revolution" sounds like Herman to me. It's quite different stylistically compared to the others solos and leads on the album.
I think it would be worse for Herman if he had played on the album but didn't get any credit for it and wasn't listed on the album. It would also be worse IMO if you're credited for playing an instrument on an album that in fact wasn't even played by a human being.

I wouldn't call the solo of Rolling Thunder pure and simple...as far as Herman's soloing is concerned. Just check Herman's capabilities on Herman Frank thread, on sound section.

I don't think Sorin was saying that it Herman's solo was technically simple, but just using an expression to say that it's definitely Herman playing that solo.

i think it's a huge compliment to herman's playing that it's hard to tell the difference between his solo's and wolf's.

Yeah, depends on the angle where you look at it. For example on Predator album there are many simple solos and they all are played by Wolf...so the grounds for the simpleness vs. Wolf's playing doesn't hold the ground as far as solos are concerned. The fact is some people don't see the abilities of Herman Frank strong. Ofcourse Wolf is the guitar king, but Herman is one of the greatest guitar players and one of the most active ( many releases). You can see some attitudes from the writings of people...a simple discourse analysis will tell it.
