I think that is the main reason... Of course they say now that they don't wanna give up on U.D.O. when Wolf/Peter refused the terms... Childish, maybe so, but I know of some really childish decisions from Udo too...
When the record is out we will see who is right... But you know what I believe...

Since Accept members don't answer to that question, I send that question to Udo.
Jerry, the reason why they do not give up U.D.O. is the thing that they don't rely on the band chemistry in Accept. Why should they, Udo has been backstabbed more than once? Why give up on U.D.O. maybe because of one release only and then to revive U.D.O. for the third time.
However I am happy for the Accept album and it should be great album music-wise (simply the best Accept album ever because there is a long, long break). I am also happy for the UDO band that they will continue (their live shows are heavier than Accept shows). What I would have wanted to happen the most, had been Accept and U.D.O. as bands around and both of them having Udo as a singer. For example one Swedish singer is in three bands now, so it is not impossible.
Addition: I rely on Accept making more than one album now without the different kind of opinions. If Udo and Stefan would have joined there would have been the possibility of Accept reunion to be one album miracle.
All I want to know is what were the terms.

I don't give a d**n about chemistry as long as They produce excellent music, that is their personal matter,we all know money talks ! I'm very very disappointed with U.D.O.,right now it is not the band I've fallen in love with ! I don't give up the hope though,I think when the competition is on the scenery, they will be forced to pull up the trousers and start making real music....by the way I think Udo should finish his career where he's started it ! In ACCEPT !!!!!! Jeno

Jeno, band chemistry does play an important role. This can be clearly seen with Predator, boring hard rock stuff. And if you've seen the Moscow show filmed in 2005, you can see that Wolf and Udo don't even look at each other in the back stage during the break but are back to back to each other. That kind of thing may ruin the whole thing.
Now in Accept there are no chemistry problems: Herman Frank enjoys the most in being in Accept, Stefan S. is happy too and Mark Tornillo must be proud of being in a band that the world knows as one of the most influential metal bands in the world.

Aye chemistry and real instruments are important things in music. Just listened to some Blind Guardian stuff this morning and concentrated on the work of my second best drummer Thomen "The Omen" Stauch. Man it is a so great thing to hear real drumplaying. That enreachens the music and gives another dimension to the songs. I agree with Jenő in this. Hopefully .U.D.O. will be forced to make real music when the new masterpiece by ACCEPT will be out. And I'm with Mika in the chemistry thing. I couldn't love a band in which the members are enemies or are together only for the money. If it isn't for music it is nothing.

I am pretty sure that the Accept record is number one in Finland when it comes out. (The only limiting matter is whether they understand to order enough Accept records in Finland.)
