About Frankenstein....to my mind it is kind of the song called Wanna Be Free. At least into AOR vein.
I agree with Mika, I really enjoy Frankenstein, love the melodic chiseled contours of the solo and the ascending section in the chorus ("I'm alive") is uplifting. But hey, you know me, I never say things are "good" or "bad", it's subjective, and people can have a different feeling about it. All I know is I love it, but yeah, to each his own.
About the similarity with Wanna be free, not discussing personal impressions, but at my humble level, I fail to see any connection with Wanna Be Free. Anyway, it's not important to me But it makes me think of one unrelated thing: I noticed that people in general feel something is commercial or AOR about Accept each time, they use major keys (chorus of Screaming for a Lovebite, Midnight Highway, Stand for What you Are, the chorus of Wanna be Free, Don't Go Stealing my Soul Away, Chorus of All of Nothing, Opening of Bound to Fail, etc). In music, a key is the general musical colour of a song or a part. There are two big categories of keys: the major keys (bright one) and the minor keys (dark ones). Accept tends to use Minor ones most of the time. Major keys are more lighthearted, more optimistic, I notice the rare songs of Accept using major keys make metalheads cringe in general a because they are all desperate, pessimistic and all about dark tones. In general, songs of Accept in major are called commercial or AOR or whatever... because they sound more relaxed. And it's unusual with Accept using more minor keys. Frankenstein uses a very classic A minor (aeolian) key + chorus ("I'm alive") is in D minor (aeolian as well). Aeolian being one of the most common and favourite flavour classic metal likes to uses (Accept, Maiden, Priest use it most of the time, the other being phrygian). Anyway, Mika, don't take my analysis as some kind of way to say you're wrong or something, to me it's just an occasion to chat extensively as you know me. You probably heard something, I missed. I probably missed the elements that feel similar to you, because I'm more focused on the deep structures of the song instead of the surface.

I meant the sort of an AOR vein...i.e.not a metal song. I regard Wanna Be Free as an AOR song. And in my mind Frankenstein is also an AOR song. Nevertheless: I still find an Accept feel in that song. And maybe I was thinking the relaxed feel/sound. In a hermeneutics way I feel happy to hear this kind of songs. Overall feeling: I have heard three new songs and I like them all. They are different songs, but enjoyable to me.

I had the chance to Hear the new album as a preview, and , man, Nobody Gets Out Alive is really a "feelgood Song" despite the theme, Diving Into Sin Is a Badass Metal Song with a beautiful intro/ outro. Man Up is a dark mid tempo with an up lifting chorus, It can reminds a bit of Koolaid in the verses and New World Coming. I love this Song, One of My favourites. Mind Games has a galloping riff and could fit on Russian Roulette ( another second to be and Animal House kind of Song), but it's unique despite sounding Classic Accept. Revages Of Time is a beautiful , beautiful ballad, Straight Up Jack has an AC/DC flavour but to me It sounds more like a Metal Heart era Song . Southside Of Hell Is a riff fest, fast, really Fast , anthemic Chorus, great solos and armonies. Not a big fan of Unbreakable at the Moment, It sounds too generic to me at First listen. Favourites: Diving Into Sin, Frankenstein, The Reckoning, Southside Of Hell, Man Up and, yes, Nobody Gets Out Alive because sometimes you Need to feel Happy despite the poop that happens everyday.

At the moment I like the most the track Southside Of Hell. As far as Mind Games is concerned I get the feel of Another Second to Be or Never Forget from Stalingrad.

After one listening to hi-res in a car, I like this album very much. Dancing , burning just like fire Only the ballad seems not needed. I week ago I visited Niznhy Novgorod , a capital of Volga region, for the first time in my life.. I took hi- speed train so I had a time for metal in earphones. Including UDO, Touchdown. Comparing it to Accept , humanoid album, I find UDO to have more style of original Accept of 80. For instance, “Heroes of Freedom” track , its just old good Accept but with different guitars. Today’s Accept is a great band, but all it shows from original Accept is guitar of Wolf. Thats it. PS Though It sounds strange that Udo, a German guy, glorifies Overlord op ( D-day) when German army was broken by allies. Though that day Wehrmacht did not show any real resistance as there were few german troops so less than 1% of allied troops suffered from their resistance on that D-day. Still the message of the that song looks strange .

Final battle. Humanoid on home stereo. I love it. Looks a massive upgrade of “Too mean to die”. What I like is that style is a combination of classical orchestra touch played by metal band with its rhythm-n-blues and HMR tricks. Tonns of AcDc in there. This altogether forms awesome alloy of one solid brick. The best track to me is “Frankenstein” … or “Man Up” ??. They all 11 are great. Actually “Humanoid” track is not the best to me and I think it is the worst one ’ Mark. That man has really wowed me. Excellent. Chris on drums : perfect. Production : more interesting than on “Too mean to die”. Composition : much more than I expected. And ace of spades. A sigar.

Something about the material feels more lighthearted on this one - Man Up, Ravages, the drinking song....
Nothing mean (PUN!) like "Too Mean To Die", "Not My Problem" or "No One's Master" on the last one.
Better production than U.D.O.'s last 2 for sure but Udo still has the better "Unbreakable" imo.

Diving Into Sin is pretty Mean tbh. You named my favourite tracks on TMTD, plus The Undertaker, still a fantastic album to me.
