So all the previous week I was streaming the album in my car and at home. I decided to use my good file player and ... it got broke after a couple of spins ) So I moved to repair center and left the gear there. And right there we had a nice talk with staff listening to this album from my flash drive on their hi-end system as this day was the day of world release . Still I preffer using CDs and as I got the original Nuclear Blast stuff, I have given it many spins at home and this is my impression to date. 1. Zombie Apocalypse - a very good opening giving a message of a whole album. Really cool hit as it starts as a classical stuff. Then we suprisingly hear the same beginning from “Bloodbath mastermind” . Unacceptable, noway. 2. The title track , “2 mean 2 die” - well, good enough , influenced by track “Raise Your metal voice “ by David Reece. Still the most epic track of the album and I like it. 3. “Overnight sensation” - a very good mix of “Cool aid” and a song of DAD band “Girl nation - Women civilisation” . Still , beeing a good hit , its htis good. 4. “No ones master” - a copy paiste stuff 5. “Undertaker” - well, an undisputable track and to me its the best one of the album. Bass tells You - Accept can have a visible bass guitar even without Baltes. Sadly, all the other tracks contradict this view. Still, I love he videoclip and all the aspects of this song. As for effect of crow cry at the end - the same like seagull cry on “The galley” track on “Stalingrad” album. 6. “Sucks to be You” - a catchy song , my anoher favoiurite one. A long lasting solo. It turns it up again. 7. “Symphony of pain” - Classical from the opening. Mark is very good in vocals here. 8. “The best is yet to come” - Very cool singing from Mark. There are several similar tracks sang by Baltes and Udo during Accept history, Baltes sings good but his hard rock voice is rather boring and nagging, Udo is even better , dramatic and touching but Mark sings in it in a different way, a “masculised” singing of a hard-standing die-hard man. Awesome. 9. “How do we sleep” - a good song but its just another copy-paiste. 10. “Not my problem “- fast and rocking but its starts exactly like “Guns r us” from Objection Overruled” album. All the rest is another clone stuff. 11. “Samson and Delilah”....A very good ending with cool rhythmical drums but 2 predictable. As for the final impression , been written down on the paper , it looks rather grey. While actually its a good album of outstanding crew. Main contra is that I cant find enough of greatness here to call it Accept at its best. As I see from he inlay, the main writer are Wolf and Mark. So, as Wolf has made all of the music , I his is the biggest contra. Wolf is ultimate guitar player but he needs help in a composition. Andy Sneap has made a perfect sound production still I would prefer “Baltes inside”. So, what can I say? MAGA ! Make Accept great again ! Bring Baltes back!!!

In the song How Do We Sleep there is one totally new thing for Accept on the guitar solo part (there are celtic melodies). At least I do not remember they have ever used celtic melodies in the songs. However Running Wild is more known for celtic melodies.
I love the ballad and also Sucks To Be You song. For me they are perfect songs. I like also the lyrics in those songs!

Hungarian version Metal Hammer called HammerWorld magazine wasn't brave enough to do the same step Funny (or sad) thing is that also Blind Guardian is in the magazine but their name is not on the cover...

Heard the whole album some 4 or 5 times. It's on YouTube and everywhere. It's not a disappointment but don't feel myself forced to listen to it again and again. I recommend to listen to it at least 10 times. At least to me Accept albums do not open the right away. I say this: IMO there are better guitar solos than ever in this millennium's Accept records. That is what I love! Minus side for me is the production which at some places is too polished for my taste. Agree with you as far as solos and production go.

5. “Undertaker” - well, an undisputable track and to me its the best one of the album. Bass tells You - Accept can have a visible bass guitar even without Baltes. Sadly, all the other tracks contradict this view. Still, I love he videoclip and all the aspects of this song. That video is a copycat of the one for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' Mary Jane's Last Dance.

Listened to it once from start to finish and I gotta say it's an alright album, but it only makes me miss the older stuff - both the raw and heavy stuff with Udo (songs like Breaker) and the epic songs with Mark ( Stalingrad and Teutonic Terror). No big songs on this new album, if you get what I'm saying. The Undertaker is an obvious highlight, as is the rare ballad The Best is yet to Come. Although I gotta say it's quite funny that pretty much the whole album is about how the world has gone to poop and then comes the "naive" ballad like Mark says himself - the best is yet to come. Well if the media is controlling everybody and there's a zombie apocalypse, how can you be so hopeful? Makes me laugh. By the way, starting a song with lyrics like "Media's controlling the masses" is just bad songwriting. Years ago they were singing about oceans filled with tears and poetic stuff like that, you can't just say the whole point out loud in the first sentence! Regardless of the on the nose lyrics, No One's Master is a great track. Otherwise no stand-out songs for me. I personally think they really dropped the ball on the opening track (even though people on this board seem to like it) - it starts with an overlong intro and when the song finally kicks off, it's a blatant copy of Painkiller or some other Judas Priest song that starts with shrieking. I love Priest and I usually love songs like this, but here it just seems lazy. And the chorus - help me, it's a zombie apocalypse, save me from the zombie apocalypse - doesn't help at all. Lazy! The only good thing about this song is that it's pretty much the most energetic and aggressive song on this album and I really miss songs like that. Accept used to mean high-pitched vocals, screaming, fast tempo, short and straight to business songs, now they're just ... well, in Estonian we have the word loid to describe it which means something like half-hearted or dull in English (try translating it into your own language with Google translate, maybe you get a better word). I want them to be restless and wild, but they seem to be rather lifeless and mild lately. So don't get me wrong - I don't hate the album and I don't even dislike it, it's a good album, but the main thing I kept thinking while listening to it was: I gotta listen to Stalingrad, Blood of the Nations, Breaker, Balls to the Wall, all the other stuff that I hold dear and haven't really listened to for a while. So yeah, I guess some good came out of it, but I don't think that's what they were aiming for.

I may be totally wrong about the lyrics of The Best Is Yet To Come. To me the lyrics are kind of biblical/religious in a way. If one is a believer ( Christianity), then the best will come when you are out of this world where we live in. To that sense one can think things as a world today in Zombie Apocalypse and then in the ballad as what happens after death.
