I've only listened to it once and I've read mixed reviews of the album. After listening session number one I enjoyed it and will give it more spins. Wellcome back!

And the album went straight to the top 50 album list in Finland. The album is #33.

Nice to see quite a lot of conversation here and old members checking in!
I gotta say that I love this album! It really did surprise me but only in a good way. After hearing We are one and Neon Diamond I didn't know how diverse the album would still be! I gotta say I am not a big fan of Children of the World and Blindfold (where the woman is only singing) but otherwise I don't find there any songs which are less than good. Some of the songs are killer, Pandemonium, Rebel town, Mother earth... Wow, they really did awesome job with this album! Stefan also did good job with production, only some parts of the drums I don't like, for example the crash-sound is not my cup of tea, otherwise superb production!

I think my fave song is Future Is The Reason Why. Am I alone when thinking this new UDO & co album? I think this is melody wise quite close to the Faceless World album, which album I did find kind of symphonic ( the solo in Blitz Of Lightning, the title song and the solos of Mathias...the great guitar solos in the vein of Dieth lacks the album, albeit there are some good solos also this new effort). Children of the world btw brings to my mind this song: Days of Hope And Glory.

Yes, I do also like this album, but I need to listen to it more! Agree somehow w Mika, I also get the feeling of FW when listening to it.
Edit: This album is fun to listen to! Diverse as told, the symphonic parts are nice, I like the female singing, the lyrics are interesting.

this is one of those cd's that gets better the more you listen to it. i put it in again yesterday just to have some background music while i worked from home. i let it play through 3 times because i was really starting to like it more. like i said before, it's not a typical UDO cd but it's what Udo wanted to do so screw anyone who doesn't like it! hahaha i'm going to put this cd in the "child's play" or "kik tracee" category, which is music that i like that helps me get through the day.

I like it too. Some reviewers have said that ballads with Udo don't work. i disagree big time! Some also say that orchestra with Udo does not work, I disagree about that too. I like the new album, although I skip the instrumental songs. There are enough actual songs with Udo singing so that the overall opinion about the album is positive.
