Zoltan, I listened to samples on Metal Hammer as for the link from official site www.udo-online.de. "Tears of a clown" is among them. I think "Stormbreaker" is good. though typical for Udo. What I would like to hear - is remix of Azrael. Azrael is a Angel od Death in islam and judaism. Great song but I would prefer the song giving hope. Angel means "messanger" who obeys will of God. a remix isn't going to change the meaning of the song. the lyrics will stay the same. personally i think that is u.d.o.'s best ballad with In The Darkness a very close 2nd.

Even Mark Gromen, the big Accept fan, liked the Celebrator with a grade: has potential. However he said that it isn't nowhere near to Accept.
And when these reviews are around we must remember that the reviewers have normally a wider aspect than the fans of a certain band, i.e. they don't have a kind of close relation to the bands. Imagine how many records are being released per year and there are a lot crappier albums than the ones UDO releases. So reflecting to that I don't actually wonder high rates, even though I don't understand them from my fan perspective.

About Tears Of A Clown...when I listen to Mastercutor and the song Tears...starts, I skip it quite fast...faster than a shark. Normally I have to hear that song about 0,05 seconds...even that is too much. The best UDO ballad BTW is One Lone Voice. Even Sweet Little Child is miles ahead from In The Darkness, at least to me it is so. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

that's why it's safer to keep that cd in the rack at home and out of the cd player.

that's why it's safer to keep that cd in the rack at home and out of the cd player. Come on to me Mastercutor is the greatest to me...the only fault is that the EP songs should have been there on the actual record and Tears not. Man A King Ruler and Streets Of Sin are excellent songs. Those two songs on the album and Master of Disaster and the song mentioned before away. Listening tip for John only: Man A King Ruler, Streets Of Sin, The Wrong Side Of Midnight, Dead Man's Eyes and One Lone Voice.

Well, "One lone voice" as well as " Blind Eyes" are great.
"In the darkness" is about the same- about a man feeling loneliness.
Its all sad ballads about lonely man or broken love ( "Blind eyes").
"Tears of a clown" is even more tragic- about man who lived empty life. Like a puppet.
So "Tears.." is my favourite- serious warning. Life will end finally.
