Watching that makes me wish that I continued with German beyond high school. The only things that I picked up are Udo saying that the "REV-Raptor" mascot represents rebellion and that he hates soundcheck.
I actually like what I heard of "As Good As I Get". I think Udo's voice really sounds great and distinctive in their ballads, like "Cry Soldier Cry", "Eye Of The Eagle", "Whispers In The Dark", "In The Darkness"(I've got that song stuck in my head, a classic), and "Unspoken Words".
"Leatherhead" still sounds too much like a left-over song from the "Dominator" sessions to my ears.
The videos definitely have potential.

just my thoughts UDO says "fun is the most important thing about making music. the chemestry is right in the band. everybody accepts the mistakes of the others. and not only the band members... also the bus drive, the cable guy and so on..." to the ballad... fitty says that he wrote the song as well as rev-raptor. after playing more than 15 years in the band you how it should or will sound on stage. the soundcheck for excample they hate but they use it for practising the songs. at the video shot to the ballad they have to laugh about udo's small size... "just clime the box when you stand infront of igor! in the end will will have a shot on your tears; we will spit poison peper spray in your eyes while igor is playing... very easy to get you crying! ;D" UDO IS GOD my expectations getting higher... maybe it is the fact that i love the band what ever they do... what can i say

I liked the idea of the ballad, but the techno sound ruins it.

the problem about the sound... that is right but i think the vocals on the ballad from THE MAN are better and more natural than on last albums... the chorus of the ballad i like much more than on the last ballads. udo is more in first position (you know what i mean?)

i think the last ballad i liked was Azrael, a song u.d.o. didn't even write. before that was In The Darkness which i think has to be one of the all time greatest ballads ever written.

I love One Lone Voice (there he sings with clean voice all the song!) and I also love Blind Eyes. Never cared for Azrael.

you know what mika? you're right! i'd totally forgotten about One Lone Voice because i can't bring myself to listen to the newer techno albums, but that song does stand out!! thanks! acceptman - yeah, that whole song rips. the guitar solo is like the frosting on the cake. everything is perfect in that song.
