Here it is, the forerunner of the new U.D.O. album “Rev Raptor” and it goes by the name “Leatherhead”<<[glow=red,2,300]is there such an expression in the dictionary?[/glow]>>> . The title track is a hot up-tempo song with a strong chorus inviting you to bang your head. The first part of this track captivates with an almost gentle verse which after an accelerating pre-chorus erupts in a classical refrain. Well, aren’t we all Rock’n’Roll soldiers? How could it be more disgusting...? In this official statement they're talking about the two songs from 2004 as if they would be brandnew tracks... not mentioning the Thundervision DVD. Do they think that we are so stupid?

i'm just thankful that the album is released on may 20th and not may 28th. my anniversary is may 28th and i wouldn't want that turd of an album to ruin it!

That´s in Spanish, it says "Leatherhead" is the typical song by UDO in the last years, and that is poor and weak. About "RnR Soldiers" it says is very Accept style and about Run that is a good ballad to finish a poor work in general, because UDO should give us much better stuff. At the end it says that he hopes this EP is only a mirage of the album to come |

Put that review into the online translator and read something like that. All in all he doesn't like the EP but... How can he write that Rock 'n' Roll Soldiers is an ACCEPT-like tune?

For one thing it reminds me of the song Black And White...only the elements are in different order and the song is more like a recycle version rather than a composition. And at the beginning bass line and drums reminds of I Don't Wanna Be Like You in BAW, so maybe the reflection comes from that in a weird way. BTW, I read another review where the reviewer thought RRS reminded of I Don't Wanna Be Like You. |
