Let's see how many RR songs will be in setlist. My guess is 3-4. Probably most of songs will be between M&M to RR-era. I hope I'm wrong.

i would give my left nut to hear Udo admit that this new stuff sucks and that he'd rather play the U.D.O. classics.

No Streets On Fire and Don't Look Back? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) BTW, when UDO was on Timebomb tour in Finland, they only played two Accept songs: Princess and BTTW. That was it.

I could post an ideal setlist, or a more realistic setlist. Ideally, I would want to hear the first 4 albums in their entirety, oh, and about 20 other songs. However, I'll give this a go.
To accomplish what I have in mind, I would like to see U.D.O. do a series of concerts, the highlights of which could be used for a live album, and one show recorded for a DVD/blu-ray for posterity. First of all, no Accept songs. Period. Only U.D.O. tracks. Second, Matthias Dieth would have to at least temporarily rejoin the band as a third guitarist (ala 21st century Maiden for a 3 guitar attack). Third, the shows would be an evening with U.D.O. without special guests or openers. Fourth, although some of us here on the forum might not be the biggest fans of more recent U.D.O. material, to make my setlists more realistic, the band would play more recent material.
Here's what I would envision:
Intro music (a grand, epic classical piece; I picture either Carmina Burana or "Anvil Of Crom" from the Conan the Barbarian soundtrack), leading into... 1. We Want It Loud 2. 24/7 3. Dominator 4. We're History or Lost Passion 5. I Give As Good As I Get 6. Metal Eater 7. The Wrong Side Of Midnight 8. System Of Life 9. Fistful Of Anger or Pull The Trigger or Bullet And The Bomb 10. Like A Lion 11. Recall The Sin 12. Band jam session with Matthias and Igor trading solos and also includes Matthias playing "Overloaded" 13. Independence Day
Intermission
End of intermission with "Metal Maniac Master Mind" playing over the loudspeakers leading into... 14. Thunderball 15. Holy 16. Animal House 17. Thunderforce 18. Drum Solo 19. Man And Machine 20. Freelance Man 21. Cut Me Out 22. Infected 23. Cry Soldier Cry 24. Break The Rules
Encore 25. Heart Of Gold 26. Run For Cover (unplugged/acoustic) 27. They Want War
For the concert that will be recorded for the DVD/blu-ray, I could see adding "Dancing With An Angel" with Doro Pesch joining Udo and co. on stage.
At other stops on this "tour", I could see "Like A Lion" being alternated with "In The Darkness", "Thunderforce" being alternated with "Timebomb", "Dominator" being alternated with "Leatherhead" or something else from "REV-Raptor", and "Infected" being alternated with "Mastercutor".
You have to admit, a setlist like this would be interesting.
