Hell yeah. Classical HMR, just whats needed in this power metal era.
From the other hand, I am mentally in 80s and 90s . When HMR was full of fresh ideas and natural sounding records . Now its more like copy-paist computer stuff.
Coming back to JP and their shield , Halford remains awesome in singing and guitars are great, drums are powerfull. Another part of their previous two albums, more then of those from 80s. .
..As for Russian metal scene , I surprisingly found that there was plenty of metal bands of a very high level. For instance “Grand Courage” from Moscow plays talented hard power for 20 years or “First Aid” from Leningrad with their heavy speed metal, they appeared to be alive and well. Now they have got a place on scene.
So I just opened another year of live gigs and awesome metal.
