Ha, ha, just read the book of A.J. Greimas' Structural Semiotics. ;D That's very interesting. It isn't anything which could be said as easy reading. However, that book is a classic and it is fun to notice that you can use semiotics almost in everything, linguistics, theater, movies etc... On the other hand it can be quite "dry" to read also. Sounds great! Actually I had never heard of semiotics before your post. If there are others wondering read further here.

I've just started to read Hjalmar Bergman's Chefen Fru Ingeborg. Therefore I can't tell much about it yet, but it's supposed to be about a middle aged woman falling in love with a younger man. Edit: I'll give this novel 3 out of 5. It was average, ok, so and so...I doubt I will reread it in the future though. Fru Ingeborg sure could need some looove, I could help her!

That sounds interesting enough, maybe I'll take a peek at that book at some point.

For now, I'm going for Albert Camus' The Stranger and so far it's great! I hope the whole experience will be as good. I'll edit this reply when finished with the novel. I'll be back! Edit: Great book! Fascinating character the main one, Mersault. Indifferent when his mother dies and also when facing his own mortality. Highly recommended, a quick read but I'll probably remember this one forever. 5 out of 5

Waiting For Godot by Samuel Beckett. This is a strange one for sure! Two fellows waiting for a person called Godot and...and...well, I won't go further than that in analyzing this one!

I'm reading Stephen King now. The Gunslinger. I do like reading something "easy" from time to time and King is easy reading, his potraying of the characters is IMO good.

That's probably why King is my favourite writer.

There is a song about The Gunslinger of Demons and Wizards. The band of Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian) and Jon Schafer (Iced Earth). Do Ya know that? Their 2nd album is quite good. Hansi is a great fan of King.
