Live in russia not filmed in one location but it pasted together from different shows ! Jeno Just as Staying a Life. At least it isn't of the same show tho' maybe the place is the same. You can see it yourself when take a look at Udo's clothing: he wears sleeveless during one song and longsleeve during another. But it isn't problem for me

i think this is common. all the kiss alive albums were recorded over a few days and pieced together. that way you get great performances for every song.

which is in a way cheating... Jeno You can say but as the bands don't hide it I think it isn't.

maybe, i'm not sure. the band is actually playing the songs live. it's just they pick the best perfomances and put them on the album. that is only good for us!!! it's not like in the studio where they use programmed computers for the drums, but still give the human credit for "playing" the drums. that is cheating in my book.

“Live in Russia” is a good live album, but “Staying a life” is a classic live album like “Made in Japan” (Deep Purple), “Live alter death” (Iron Maiden) or “Alive!” (Kiss).
“Staying a life” was recorded in the Gold era of Heavy Metal music, better production, better presentation, and one band in the top of their carrer.

Well said Bittor! And I can't forget the fact that the music of ACCEPT contains more uniques than .U.D.O.'s.

Well said Bittor! And I can't forget the fact that the music of ACCEPT contains more uniques than .U.D.O.'s. Or is that just nostalgy... That's what I've been seriously thinking about sometimes. I think no one can deny that U.D.O. is heavier than Accept, another issue is which one you consider better. Yep, I consider Accept better, but there are times when I prefer listen to U.D.O.
