Picking only five is d**n hard (so I have to go for at least 6 ! You both have killer lists and mine would not be so much different: 1. Accept - Russian Roulette 2. Accept - Heaven is Hell 3. Accept - Dead On! 4. U.D.O. - Thunderball/Motörhead - Terminal Show (have the same kind of feel to them in my opinion) 5. AC/DC - Highway to Hell p.s. And I didn't include any ballads, that would have to be a topic of its own! ;D)

Impossible for me to do this kind of thing. I could easily say the 50 best albums, but not the 5 best songs. I think the best 5 songs would however consist of UDO and Accept tracks. I don't know if it is okay, but if I can choose one song by one band which I think is the best one. And I do it so that I choose the songs from the 5 best metal bands.
1) Accept - Like A Loaded Gun (Other tracks that are close: Death Row, Writing On The Wall, Starlight, Fast As A Shark, Princess Of The Dawn, Slaves To Metal, Metal Heart, London Leatherboys, Fight It Back, Losers And Winners, Wrong Is Right, Monsterman, Another Second To Be...the list is almost endless. ;D)
2) U.D.O. - Man And Machine (Other tracks that are close: Don't Look Back, Future Land, Blitz Of Lightning, Desperate Balls, Blind Eyes and Braindead Hero.)
3) Vanize - Bootlicker (Other tracks that are close: No Time For Heroes, Back To The Gutter, Train To Hell, One Law For Them, Break Down The Walls and last but not least - Rolling.)
4) X-Wild - Dealing With The Devil (Ha, Running Wild was very near, but this band has the best Wild cd: So What!)
5) Victory - Hit And Run

That's a great list Mika! My list would look a whole lot different if I chose just one song per group, I need to think about this...

I think that we could do a weekly chart... Everyone can vote from different songs, and everybody has own turn alternately? That is just my crazy idea..

Hmmmmmm......here's my 5 metal/rock in no particular order:
Judas Priest - The Hellion/Electric Eye Accept - Fast as a Shark Metallica - Master of Puppets AC/DC - Highway to Hell Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast
Yeah, I know, they've all been heard 1000's of times, but I for one never get tired of them, and isn't that what a great song is all about?

It's simply impossible to choose only five top songs. There are more than five faves of mine on ACCEPT and .U.D.O. albums... And I have another fave bands too... I would be in trouble on a desert island...
