Here's an interview from 2000 with Fitty. Many of you may know this interview. It's by Joe and Rickard if I ain't wrong... Why is it interesting - you may ask. Because it shows that nothing has been changed around the band and in the heads of the members since 2000. Fitty says they have Udo in the band so they are ACCEPT. He says it doesn't matter who are the musicians around Udo. I really like Fitty as a person and as musician but he can't think he could be a substitute for Peter Baltes. And also Wolf Hoffmann can't be replaced by Stefan Kaufmann or Igor Gianola. Neither as musician nor as songwriter... Another interesting point is what he says about the website thing. I think they still don't understand the importance of the internet in a band's life...

In the beginning I liked Fitty as a person... But after the ACCEPT 2005 reunion where he said something like Udo is used to have a certain wall behind him or something like that I lost respect... I mean, Baltes is innovative, Fitty's booring... Wolf is god, Igor is... ehhh... SORRY! The new drummer Jovino is however good. But Fitty serously ment they are better than ACCEPT! For god's sake, go and brush your teeth man!!! Listen to these new ACCEPT clips, musically you can hear it's Wolf and Peter, sounds so great!!! And Mark... Well being just thrown in like that I think he made agreat job. And I have the biggest believe in Peter and Wolf when they say he can expand with ease. Knowing Wolf is a perfectionist I am sure they will not release anything badsounding and hopefully they are so full of great riffs after this long abscense it will be a killer ACCEPT album!

Skål Jerry! Those are some heavy words, but I agree and I too trust Wolf and Peter (->Accept) will once again release a great album.

I read the interview from the different point of view: the key word is the chemistry in that sense UDO are a better band than Accept, not musically but in that sense. There are no backstabbers in U.D.O. And if we think about band members in a band: where would you want to be? In a band where you can trust your bandmembers or in a band where the other band members may have different thoughts in a year or two. And about Accept: the secret in this band was that everyone did join in the composing. In Predator this wasn't the case and it shows. I honestly can't understand why in the first place in 1993/1994 Wolf didn't want to take Stefan as a 2nd guitarist. To these facts I don't get it if people don't understand why Udo don't want to join in. Another thing: I am pretty certain that without Udo Accept wouldn't have returned. If Udo would have refused to do the gigs in 2005, Accept hadn't make a reunion now, because of the long break without doing anything (13 years). Blah, blah, to keep a long story short: I am happy that Accept is back to make music. I am also happy that UDO continues to do metal music too.

As I wrote it before, the best of the best would be the two band's existence with one singer ! ;D

its was one old interview with Fitty, had almost forget this interview. I read one interview wene UDO play in bang your head festival 2005 and Accept have one mini break for this summer tour. Fitty say:: I was on Rock Hard festival and see Accept,, and first i begin thinking at was why thay do this?? The man some did all in Accept was Stefan and bla bla bla And Udo coming in and say:: U.D.O. musik its more solid and works more better live..... And the spirit of Accept is gone......
Also why thay play so many Accept songs live if U.D.O. its so much better !?? And if you see this bootlegs dvd from Accept 2005 and see Udo on stage,, also he not see to have so fun on Accept shows 05,, see not give 100% (mabey i have wrong) but this time its mabey better to have Mark Tornillo !!??

has anyone else thought the same as i do when i think this whole Accept thing may just be a one album, one tour thing then it will be done? that popped into my head a few days ago and i'm thinking that will be true more and more everyday. it's just a gut feeling.

According to themselves it's thought to be a long-term thing. That could be why Udo/Stefan isn't in here? If everything turns out to be a major failure and nothing goes well you might get right... But if they make a killer album I think most people will appeal to it wether Udo is singing or not...

I have the same feeling knowing how Wolf is an artistic person, but I hope my feeling is totally wrong. If it is only one album, one tour, I am happy with that, but ofcourse I want more - knowing the capability of Wolf as a guitarist.

They have to make a killer album and have the new singer ACCEPTed by the fans. Then anything can happen. I hope that it won't be a one album one tour thing... By the way the silence around this new ACCEPT Reloaded is so strange... Their website is dead and nowhere an interview with the members.

I've looked at it being more of a studio project the whole thing, even if they anounned that tour. But we'll see.

Gaby told me Wolf see his future with ACCEPT so we can only hope that is true words... Also in that interview exerpt from blabbermouth they said they think long-term... What about the homepage it's said to be frequently updated in the future but right now I know they have private things to deal with so it may take a while before anything happens...
