That's strange. There's nothing about it in the booklet.

Its really cool info. But thats just how the things have always been in Accept and UDO. Studio credits and official credits on a cover come from different galaxies

That's one thing I'll never understand about these bands. All the secretiveness. It drives me crazy! Everything's got to be a big secret. It's just music!!!!

To me its more about record companies and copyright. Studio work is from one galaxy : Jedi- masters musicians do their work . But long long ago in a galaxy far far away Darth Managerius doesnt care about the truth. He maximises his benefits . It does not matter that Hermann Frank have recorded nothing on Accept albums : his face is to be on a cover of a disc for fans to recognise him on stage . In several year Hermann Frank start beeing convinced by journalist and fans that he was not just a tour-guitar but a real Accept-member. And officially he is ) This way this comes with Mean Machine and We Are one. “Baltes, you can record Your bass, if You like, but we need to give bass-credits to official bass player of UDO. Nothing personal”. And Peter is an awesome guy if he does it no matter the fame !

You would be amazed at the amount of uber-rock stars that work as studio musicians who get paid only for their time in the studio and never get credit on an album. It's as common as breathing in music, mostly because these musicians need to be artists and that's their best creative outlet. This is exactly what Chris Williams does. He's constantly recording for other people because that's what he loves to do, create. Other musicians are more about the gig and they love performing in front of a crowd and they're not happy unless they're on stage. It all depends on the musician. I don't know Peter well enough to be able to say where he fits in this but from what I gather he is more of the business type of musician and tends to spend a good deal of time in administrative roles and doesn't need a whole lot of credit as long as he can do what makes him happy (and pays the bills). So I can totally believe something like that.

Agreed. For instance, Metallica seems to be one of such management-projects. A serious old guy with classical music education writes tunes, rock-stars play it in studio and 4 young guys with bottle in their hands go on world tour.

So, after I have had a great time today with WeAreOne album, still I am not sure that its UDO with orchestra. Probably its more an orchestra with UDO.

I think I haven't listened to the album (maybe I have and just forgot), but I don't like it anyway. I want pain, I want fury, I want power from U.D.O. I don't need this orchestra bs.

How about listening to it for once and for another opinion after it ? I thonk that it would be truly different opinion

I'm so sorry those guys who don't like We Are One saying "I don't need this orchestra nonsense from .U.D.O.". They probably feel the same what I felt during the whole -tor era. Now we have this album which is filled with real instruments played by flesh and blood musicians. Plus the lyrics have more to say than mad robots biking in a future race...
