To me Covid viris exists, no doubt . It is known at least since 1970s . But I see direct chain :
Tention between West and Russia - Russia cancelled covid restrictions . If covid is so dangerous for real , what is the reason to cancel the restrictions ?

Well, today I have seen a new movie, «Silent night».
The plot looks rather interesting : our days. The government declares thet the new red cloud spreads widley all over the planet. Every man who gets into the cloud , dies in pain very soon. To kill the pain, givernment provides population with free pill - they are to swallow it and death wil be easy.
A little boy oppose his family - he does not believe media. So he refuses to swallow the death pill.
In the end we see the opinion of editor, is this cloud reallu denverous or actually people dies from the pills.
For me this is dedicated to all that covid -stuff .

i looked that movie up on IMDB. here's the top review of it. what do you think?
The last twenty minutes and the end are excellent but sadly to get to that point you have to endure pretty much endless boredom. The acting is ok but the characters are so unlikeable you barely care what happens to them by the time you get to the good bit. The kids are all awful people and the constant swearing is quite repulsive - it may have been a plot point but if it was it was far too heavy handed. It would have worked as a twenty minute episode of an anthology tv show but did not have enough substance to carry it for ninety minutes and the padding that was the building of the characters and their back stories just made it tiresome to watch. It's a shame - handled differently it could have been quite good.

Well, its a very good question. Actually , its about of the same style like “Dont look up” . They show everyday life but in the way You see the absurd of the situation around You . “Dont look up” is more a “right in Your face” movie , everything is clear and the only thing that can really surprise You is the end. Editor says “no” to humankind and I think that “Writing on the wall” track by Accept could be great sound track for that movie.
While “Silent night” is much deeper. It changes its style several times through its duration . And it really can bewilder its audience. It starts like a comedy, them turns into a drama but its a mix of social thriller and a horror.
I should not open the ending and keep the intrigue. As for the review above, to me its right almost on all the accounts. But reviewer does not see the main idea - its a film about COVID . You can trust media or You can doubt and ask for proofs and evidence. But this can take You out of Your comfort zone and You need to be brave.
The big thing where the review is definitely wring is when he writes “mids are all awefull people” - I still have to say that the main hero of the movie is a boy. A very brave one, smart and a real challenger .
Unlike “Dont look up” , the film gives a way out , but its a very severe way out. “Trust no one of You wanna survive. Your own reason and Your own memory are Your 2 only friends “ Like Christ said - “do not be afraid, little herd “
