They played many from Steelfactory - which is a good thing. But beside the new songs there are only time-tested old live favorites. No surprises.
Btw, there are some fresh videos on Youtube.

Yes, there should be a change for the oldies. They tend to play some of the title tracks from older albums. So why not including Mean Machine and Faceless World songs?

Of course the setlist could be better, as always BUT I am glad to see that there really are no songs from Accept!

i like the setlist. of course there are some things that i think could change, but it's just a matter of personal taste. i wonder what it's like for Udo to do a gig and not end the night with BTTW?!? hahaha i wonder if it messes with a small OCD part of him that thinks the show is never finished!?! hahahaha

So , it was for the first time when there were two openings before UDO.
The gig took place in the same alll legendary Glavclub, my previous time there was Accept this year. I must say that its a - SOLD OUT. There were many people around asking for an extra ticket. So - 3.000 men got their balls to rhe wall of that club. You can say : what Balls ? Udo promised to stay away from Accept stuff and to show his own balls out. But I can say that - there was Accept stuff played ! No bulls .
So the first opener was Swedens band Kairos. Fast guitars and singer with high vooce, thats it. Actually singer looks too narcisstic, tracks are nothing special . So, band sucks. I think their blue Swede shoes should be stepped on. But as the first opener , I can bear them.
The second track was a band from Moscow, Amalgama. I have seen them already as an opening act and I have found them to be a very good band . Vocalist has a very good voice and he can sing. Songs are catchy. Actually they are in the same league as UDO.

As fot the headliner : lights show was great, smoke-blows , it was all ok. New solo and bass : well, Kasperi and Hudson were much better. I really miss their solos. But still , they make a beautifull team. That all about them, dont think that they deserve better. So, actually rhythm section looks good , well-coordinared and deliveres punchy sound. Fast bass is not needed if drums are not fast. So this band plays as slow as their slowest element, Seven, sorry , Sven. I gotta present Sven a pack of Sven, sorry Seven Up ! “Sven, Up !” The bands gives a good punch, but its a mid-tempo punch, a hardened Acdc. Andrey- very good, he did it very good. He showed a couple of new tricks. Udo. Perfect. Anchorman. I must say that his band is very good in accompanying of his voice. It was his day. He smiled , he laughed out , he looked very happy. He looked much better then he talked. Yes, I mean “The next song we do is the song ... from ...album “ ))) Luckily he most kept silent. But he get used to Russian and and screamed out “Maskva” like a Russian.

I think he meant the style or the spirit of the music.
Thanx Stas! Glad to know that you had a blast!

Both are great. As you see , merch was awesome. Not so cheap but really cool. Stay tuned , the best is yet to come ...

Haha, I dont remember Actually, I am not a vodka-guy. Of cause, I like vodka+pelmeni and can eat it in a non-stop mode. But in a real life I drink a glass of wine almost every day and a coniac from time to time. I do not like beer as well , I drink it only after sauna or russian bath . So , I am to say that almost all my latest gigs I am sober n dry . No alco, just my own spirit. So coming back to the gig. As for Accept song, the warm -up act, Amalgama , played Burning and I liked it. Fans were really burning . As usual some one them were pushing people around and I was to use my fists. When one of those guys pushed me trying to get closer to the stage , I stopped him and said “Stop pushing me !” He turned to me and I saw that he was older than 60 As you see, the spirit was rising high , all of my life. So lets finish with that spirit and come from vodka to tea . Here is an all-mighty my Tee :

There were plenty of Tees, it was impossible to have them all. Lots of money and lots of pockets were needed. So my choice was a simple tour-Tee, a khaki patch and a set of guitar-pics. For more, I wanted to grab an exclusive Tee , 1 of 50 pcs and I was lucky . These Tees were posch-stuff of about $50 so some of them were abailable even after the show, I am not sure about all the sizes. It was funny how big fat guys bought these stretched Tees , put it on and Tee just underlined their big belly. Luckily I ve lost about 20 kg during last 2 year so all my Tees fit greatly. Btw I think that all 50 pcs will be sold-out as the responce was big. For instance I saw how a guy took 2 of them , for him and for his “baby-daughter “, a 20 yo chick standing near. Another exclisive stuff was a long-sleeve leoppard zipper for $130 but it looked like nothing special so I saw noone bying it. Classic Tees , several of Steelfactory and Animal House , were really cool .
