Anyone know how the meet and greet is supposed to work? Initially, I believe it said after the show which seems kinda unusual but whatever. I haven't seen anything to give any details to make sure that I show up at the right spot at the right time and it'd suck to pay thta extra cash and miss out.

As far as I remember these VIP meet and greets are before the gig.

It was... had to call the venue to find out. But as John likes to say, there's always something that's a little disappointing about one of these shows. Here it was the fact that it was only 3 of the five band members. So you pay for the meet and greet and can't even get a full set of signatures. Oh, here's the other annoying thing... The signing was from 7:00 to 7:45. The merch table wasn't supposed to open until 8:00pm. That seems rather ridiculous. So I'll note that it was a good show otherwise. Small venue, only about 150-200 people there but it was a good crowd. There was one gal there from Guadalajara Meheco and at least two who flew down from Canadada because the Vancouver show got canceled on account of snowball fights on the freeway. I really have to question, though, "Burning" as the finale. Doesn't fit. It snowed on me on the way up and that's really bizarre to me. On the way back (I drove home straight after the show), it never once got above 32F between Vegas and Phoenix and that included Kingman, where the below photo was taken. Also, I managed to get some rare pictures of Fitty's face vs just this mass of swirling hair.

yes, it was a good show. the main thing that i noticed was that Andrey and Kasperi didn't really show off their skills too much. for instance, on the Steelhammer tour, Andrey was really going off on the solo's and Kasperi was showing his shredding skills as well. but then it hit me, they are playing all Accept songs and the Accept solo's are not shredding solo's. they are melodic and very well thought out. so of course they couldn't just go off and play todays shredding style of guitar. also i noticed that fitty seemed to be throwing a little bi tch fit when he first got on stage, probably because the club was so small, the stage was very small, and there were only about 100 people when they started. he seemed to be pouting and not happy. but then by about the 5th - 6th song he started to come out of it and just played the music. he's got to realize that with their crappy management and even crappier PR team (and i use that term very loosely) that they are not going to get huge turnouts in every city if they only play here once every 5 - 10 years and don't do any promotion at all. i agree with wayne that Burning is a lousy show closer. they also played the other time waster "i'm a rebel". i just can't stand those two songs. but obviously they mean something to Udo so i'll just have to play along. Highlights for me were Flash Rockin Man and Up To The Limit. the funny part of the show was Udo and the band trying to keep their timing during the strange feel time of Screaming For A Love Bite. they've screwed that up in every video i've seen and tuesday night they did the same. you'd think that after all this time, they'd be able to nail that down! hahahahaha
but all in all, i really enjoyed the show. i stood next to the great pantera drummer Vinnie Paul for a short time. he stayed until about the middle of BTTW then left. i didn't want to bother him during the show for a pic with him and since he left early, i didn't get a chance to get that done. i ran into a dude dressed up like Paul Stanley though and got a pic with him. he asked if i'd buy him a beer for the pic, i told him i wouldn't even buy the real paul stanley a beer to take a picture with him! hahahahaha but he was cool and did it anyway. his makeup and costume were spot-on. there was also a dude there with a mohawk that was at least 12 inches high. really cool. i bought the swinging Udo shirt for $25 (Udo on the wrecking ball). it was great to see the band but it seemed even better just being in that environment and getting to see all the other people there. my whole trip to vegas with my buddy Kevin was awesome. i'm really glad he decided to go with me. i'm guessing this was the last time Udo will be in the US so i wanted to make sure i was there for it. i'll post my pics later.

oh my how to put all this down, I HAD A BLAST ! after waiting soooo long to see the man, it was worth every second. I left northern Utah about 9:00 am Tuesday morning, long drive,(500 miles one way) got into vegas about 4:00 or so. met up with my friend that was already in vegas for another expo, took our wives to dinner and made the drive to the venue, we weren't aware the m&g had been moved back so we had to sit in the car for 1/2 hour, no big deal. so got in about 8ish went right up front, the opener was still setting up, they were o.k. their drummer was an aminal.
saw sven walk thru the crowd to the backstage area during the openers set, no one even acknowledged him, I thought to at least offer a fist bump but didn't. when they took the stage and I saw udo himself walking up the few steps to the stage, feelings just overtook me and I was off. jumping/screaming/hadbanging, just going crazy, probably embarrassing for a normal person, but at a concert I just can't stand still, and after waiting sooo long I went quite out of my mind. it is amazing a 20+ song set list can go by so fast. I truly enjoyed every minute of it. I truly despise "princess" but I put up with it, and it would be the only song I wish they would drop. midnight mover doesn't come over very well live, but you know to me it doesn't matter, with all that great material 2 songs that are off or I don't care for doesn't ruin the show for me.
john, I would have loved to hang and visit with ya, however with my wife back at the hotel room all alone I kida needed to get back, long story, lets just say she don't travel well, hates crowds/hotels/concerts ect. ect.
got home wendsay afternoon and basically just went to bed.
